Freedom of speech is the right of freedom of life for every human being on earth. Freedom of speech even exists from the time we are born until we die, so that freedom of speech can be said to be a form of right that is essential and closely attached to everyone. In general, freedom of speech can be found in everyone who lives in a country that adheres to a democratic government. In a country that adopts a government system like this, people are generally free to speak, either in public or on their social media. they will express their opinion if there is a system of government that they think can harm them and the surrounding community.
However, in this world not all countries adhere to the notion of democracy. There are several countries that also adhere to the notion of monarchy. In my understanding, a country that adheres to this kind of understanding makes people and citizens living in a country not have freedom of speech and even citizens and people tend to be pressured to be careful in speaking and the government to make restrictions on public speaking. as an example and being a common secret among us, there is a country in East Asia that adheres to this kind of government and tends to be closed from outside countries. the government in this country strictly prohibits its people from speaking in public, let alone attacking the government. if they dare to speak, then they will be in trouble with the law and even the state. then this is very inversely proportional to human nature because creatures are free and free to have opinions and voice their thoughts.
Freedom of speech is the right of everyone. However, these rights and freedoms should not be misunderstood. so that someone can talk at will. one must set boundaries and express opinions in a polite and ethical manner in voicing opinions and speaking in public so that others who are listening will not be offended by the opinions we give. For example, many people have the wrong ethics in expressing their opinions. they are not giving opinions but rather insulting and equating other people with the most heinous things in the world. so that people who hear can be angry and hurt. In the end, instead of finding a solution to the problem, it will actually cause a new problem and can attack someone who does this. Therefore, freedom of speech is a double-edged sword. if we use it correctly then we can control the knife and if we use it wrong then the knife will turn to attack for us. therefore, use the rights and freedom of opinion properly and ethically so that no one is harmed and can provide solutions for a good life in the future.
