Greetings, beautiful people!

Jokes among friends depend on the kind of people involved in the circle of friends. There are some people that won't accept insultive words such as "you're mad" as a joke no matter the tone in which it's being said. I can't be seen in such a circle because I'm the type that treasures humor to the core.
But even in the midst of hilarious friends, there are still instances where we frown at some of those thunderous jokes.
I've had encounters where I made a joke and someone took it too far.
There's this friend of mine, Benita by name, who acts so maturely to casual things that normal people joke over. If I jokingly tell her that I love her, she'll frown as if I'm carrying poison.
I've thought it several times on why her life is like that and I concluded that maybe her place of study influenced her lifestyle that far. She studied in China... maybe Chinese don't joke with things like that 🙇.
We've added issues severally on this aspect, and I'm not tired of dishing it out whenever I'm opportunity 😎.
Last two weeks, there was a money-making task I needed her to benefit from, so I introduced the stuff to her half-way and played the joke of love on her; she picked it up and started acting mature as usual. She began to pressurize me to say what the stuff was all about and stop joking but I refused; she got angry and snubbed my chat. I laughed so loudly because I knew she would come knocking to get the idea.
After two days of no chatting, she came with "Hi Kingsley, could you please complete what you've started?" on my DM.
Then I replied, "You're lucky that I don't snub; if not, I would have snubbed you without replying to this message."
Ever since then, I muted her chat.😎
Also, during secondary school, I derived so much joy from giving out and sticking awful names to people that we called them to the point they began to fight.🥳
Where I took a joke seriously
I'm the type that always have my phone with me, and that's because it contains everything for me.
There was a day when I was in school when my friends(roommates) decided to play a prank on me by removing my phone from the spot I plugged it and pretended to me that it was stolen.
When I returned to pick up my phone, I saw the charger empty without the phone plugged in. I began to shiver because I thought my phone had been stolen. "But how come it was stolen when my roommates were around?" I thought.
I asked them if they had mistakenly taken the phone out, but none of them agreed. I sensed that it was them that were behind the disappearance of the phone, so I changed it for them, and they had to pull it out and placed it back where it was.
They knew that my phone is my everything, which was why they easily got me in on the prank/joke. If it were to be other stuff, I wouldn't have indicated much interest.
