Good Day Everyone! As a community, one thing we always try to do at Hive Learners is to look for new ways to help the community and it's members strive in the Hive ecosystem and beyond with their skills & creativity. We look for ways on how we can help our members explore more of their hidden talents that goes beyond just blogging. And that was why we came up with the Creative Sunday Initiative, a program where members and non-members are allowed to show their creative skills to everyone.
The Creative Sunday initiative was made official on June 29th 2022, and since then we've received hundreds (if not thousands) of entries from people all over the world. The initiative involves showing off your cooking skills, your amazing art skills and also some of your amazing DIY projects you might have going on, along with some collage and meme. Due to the rise of ChatGPT, We've recently removed Poetry from our recommended topic as we do not want to reward an author for AI generated poems.
Few days ago @dlmmqb made post to hear public opinion if they are willing to see new topics on creative sunday Creative Sunday Needs Your Unofficial Feedback! and we listened!
Like we said, the goal is to cover as much creative skills as possible out there and that was why we thought of other things we could add to the list to make it more interesting and creative. Well ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation, we at the Hive Learners Community have decided to add three more activities as recommended topic for Creative Sunday, and they are short drama, music & scientific experiment.
We're sure there are many of you out there who've always wanted to show us your acting and singing skills, well we at Hive Learners are giving everyone the opportunity to do just that. We would love to watch videos of you acting out your favorite scene in your favorite movies, tv-serious or anything, it can be any genre of your choice. The same thing also applies to you singing, you can pick any song of your choice and make a video of yourself singing a cover of the song.
Also, in addition to the skills we will be adding to creative Sunday, we are taking a little approach to science. Many of us even as kids were good at little science experiments and by experiments, we don't mean blowing up things, no ☠️
We're not asking for the complex things, rather we want the littlest things our creative minds can come up with. It could be childhood tricks we do with magnets or mixture of some harmless substances that might end up forming a beautiful colour or something. In short, you can try any sort of scientific experiments
- The video must be 3 minutes or longer
- You'll have to mention your username in the beginning or ending part of the video
- You must publish the video via 3speak. We wont allow YouTube or Dtube videos as content. (Reach out to us if you need assistance on how to use 3speak for publishing videos)
- You cannot share a video of yours that has been published already on anywhere else (Meaning we will allow exclusive contents only)
- It can be solo/duo/team video. Also, it's not necessary that the video must look exactly based on drama or songs. We would like to see your acting/singing skills, the video can be just a funny video as well
- We would highly appreciate if you choose acting/singing partners from other Hive fellows. We would try to reward your effort according to our scope.
- While covering songs, you must mention original owner of that song.
- We would appreciate if it's a video content. But if you make it like a blog, you must write at least 300 words while making the content.
- You must include separate sections like Tools & apparatus, Experiment Process and Final Discussion & Learning.
- Minimum 8 Steps (Photos) of the whole process (including tools & apparatus, experiment part).
- Tell us about what did you learn from this experiment.
- It can fun, little experiment but dont make it too simple.

We just want you guys thinking outside the box and showing us how amazing your minds work as that is the whole point of creative Sunday.
