Good day everyone! This is going to be 80th week of the Hive Learners Prominent Author Of The Week campaign.
So What is The Prominent Author of The Week About?
The aim of the Prominent Author of the Week is to reward five great contents of authors shared from our weekly prompts in the community. This way, we get to encourage authors to be more active and try to be the best they can be in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 5 Posts/Authors would be selected from the weekly prompts (including creative sunday posts) every week
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the five winning authors
- All five selected authors would be rewarded with lazy-panda curation trail upvotes.
When I was a child, I met a lion!
In this post, this author @crazyphantombr tells us a circus story that he says was an important part of his childhood. The author talked about how fascinated he was back then being able to see all of these animals and how disappointing it is for the current generation who no longer has that privilege. According to the author, rather than put an end to the circus and zoos, it would be better instead if sanctuaries are opened where these animals can be properly taken care of.
Skills to Aid Me during the absence of online space
In this post, this author @amberkashif talks about what she would do if she ever found herself in a situation where she could no longer work online and according to the author, she has some few options. The author tells us about some of the few things that she thinks that she can do, and one of these involves something that she has been doing for years already but has never really done it professionally.
The healthcare system of my country, Nigeria: where exactly do we start from?
In this post, this author @sperosamuel15 talks about the health sector in his country and how bad it is. The author, being someone in the medical field, tells us from firsthand experiences how terrible the health sector is in his country and some of the things these health practitioners are experiencing. The author also tells us his thoughts on if it's a good idea if doctors should go on strike or not, and why.
Public health and the option to go on strike.
In this post, this author @shiftrox also talks about healthcare in his country. According to the author, although he personally doesn't work in the healthcare sector and doesn't have a lot friends there who do, he does know that the health sector in his country faces some problems, and this is why the author is fifty-fifty on if doctors going on strike would help improve the situation in the country.
The Healthcare Time Bomb Resolve: To Strike Or Not?
In this post, this author @merit.ahama talks about the poor healthcare system in her country. The author tells us about the time she visited the hospital and wasn't attended to for hours, saying that something fatal could have happened for her if she was there for something life threatening. The author goes further to give us their thoughts on if they think doctors should go on strike or not.
