So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week, which is “WITHIN A MONTH”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “A FAMILY THAT EATS TOGETHER”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their experiences with having to eat together as a family. It could be either eating at the same time and at the same table, or eating from the same plate. Either way, this is something that’s very popular for many people.
We got to see the reason behind such acts and why many people practice it. It builds bonds and lasting memories for family members, making dinner times something to look forward to. And while not everyone experienced this, we all saw just how valuable such a practice can be and the positive impact it could have on families as a whole. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.

And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us that growing up, he didn’t really get to eat from the same plate as his siblings, even though many times they were served at the same time. However, this is a practice that he looks forward to emulating in the future when he starts raising a family of his own.
For this author, she told us that she hates eating alone. However, due to her hectic work schedule and conflicting timelines, she’s found herself doing just that. She does try to have a family dinner, even if it’s once a week, and hopes to make it into a tradition. Because it’s simple moments like these that make bonds stronger and create lasting memories.

For this author, she told us that in the past, they rarely had family meals due to busy schedules. However, now that they’re all at home more often, they’ve made it a habit. It even spreads to hosting her best friends and their families at dinners as well. It all goes to show how much fun can be had and how many memories can be made when such acts are done.
