The newbies' initiative tasks have been so helpful to me, there are a lot of things I have learnt and a lot of things I know I am still going to learn. Sometimes, I wonder if I would have learnt any of these things if I didn’t join.
For last week’s topic, we had a meeting that was anchored by @vickoly and @nkemakonam89 and was initiated by @starstrings01. The meeting was focused on financial growth charges, ways to grow more on Hive, and how to use the Leo thread.
The meeting was no doubt awesome, I enjoyed every bit of it and felt more motivated and encouraged. For this week’s task, I partnered with @phyna, we talked about tips and advice to grow financially.
Where do you see your hive growth in the next 6 months, one year, and 2 years? What are the strategies you will adopt to achieve that?
It is important to have a vision or focus in whatever we do, without a goal or a vision anywhere you reach is an achieved goal or destination.
For this year’s goal, I have completed most of it and the remain I will surely complete it. I am glad and proud of where I am now because I know that I’m growing, it might be slow but I am surely moving and learning.
For the next 6 months, I believe I would have been able build more HP, at least 1000 -1500 Hp, also I will have build more connections, interact, and engage with many other content creators. In one year, I am sure my exposure to hive would have increased, I would have started investing more and I would have built my HP to at least 1500-4000 HP.
In two years, my reputation would have increased significantly, my HP would be about 7000-1000HP. I would have built strong connections with other people on Hive, and by that time I would be able to onboard people and train them well, I would have been a source of motivation to others, and I would have invested well in Hive. I can’t wait to be there!
STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE THIS
A goal without a plan or way to achieve it is just a dream. I don’t want to just dream but I would love to achieve it.
- SHARE QUALITY CONTENT.
Sharing quality content is very important, who would love to read and appreciate posts that are lazily written? Quality content will attract people to my post, if my post is nice, people will most likely follow and engage with me. I will gain an audience and curators are most likely to appreciate my post.
- ENGAGEMENT
This is one of the main ways to grow on Hive, engagement simply exposes you to other content creators, even with engagement I can also learn from different creators. When I engage with others, I will mostly get noticed and gain an audience.
- FIND THE RIGHT COMMUNITY
Some people don’t know the right community to post their content, they post in the wrong community where their posts will not be appreciated. It is important that I find the right community for my post, where content like mine is well appreciated.
There are also other communities that support, I will check them out and write there. I will see the community that I can relate to and write there.
NB: Just because a community supports well, does not mean that you should, by all means, write there, if you can’t relate to the content shared there, don’t share bad or low-quality content. Look for a community you can relate to.
- BE ACTIVE ON THE BLOCKCHAIN
There are a lot of opportunities on Hive other than sharing a post, a lot of tokens, contests, and updates that can help me. Being active on the blockchain and exploring the blockchain will definitely open other opportunities.
- BE DRIVEN AND MOTIVATED
Motivations keep one going, on the blockchain when things get a little bit tiring, I will look at others who have gone through what I am going through and are doing fine.
There are a lot of people who serve as a motivation to me, I can check how far they have come, check their wallets, and use them as a source of motivation and not a source to ridicule myself. I would love them to keep going, so I can keep going too, but regardless of whether they stop or continue, I will keep going.
I will relate and interact with them, ask them anything that looks confusing to me, anything they did and I don’t understand. I will make sure to share any issues. I will relate with people who will keep me motivated.
- INVESTMENT
There are a lot of investments I can go into that will pay in the long run. Some tokens and crypto-related investments. I will learn more about investment, bull runs, and the like.
Make a summary of your understanding of the just-concluded tutorial.
I understood that the beginning doesn’t have to be smooth and easy but regardless of how hard it is, we still learn along the way. Don’t rush the process, trust it and continue working towards your goals.
Also, no man is an island, honestly, we all need ourselves to grow, the journey is easier when you work with others. Relating with other hivian helps one in Hive and not only on Hive but it builds friendships outside Hive.
Exploring communities and blockchain is very helpful, learn, learn and learn, you don’t have to stress yourself over it if you don’t understand, just ask questions. Be consistent, show up every day, engage, and be willing to learn.
Your mindset is very important, have a growth mindset, don’t limit yourself to where you are now, don’t look at yourself and ridicule yourself, and don’t compare yourself with others, it will only make you pity yourself and make you think you are not doing it right.
Build yourself, build your confidence, build your HP, and don’t just pay little attention to tokens because if you invest well in it, it will pay you. Also, they talked about bull run, where the price of coins will grow high and one can sell the coins or tokens staked for the bull run.
