Every one of us wants a better world, but our definition of a better world differs, what means better to you might not be to me. To me, I believe a better world is where love rules, where criticism and discrimination are nowhere to be found, a world where nature is appreciated.
The world is improving and in another way, it is also deteriorating, the world is becoming easier, a lot of things are being made easier by technology and inventions, education is being improved but also there is conflict and war, environmental issues.
Like I said, a better world to me is a world where nature is well appreciated, I would love every single one of us to respect nature and play our part in developing our world through love and peace.
Most people blame the governments for literally everything, while they are not doing anything to help or they are even making things worse. Most people don’t believe they are involved in the improvement of the world, they just believe that the government or leaders will make the magic happen.
I schooled in a government school, and facilities and everything needed were provided by the government, even though, the facilities were not really enough, you still see most students willingly spoiling those things, willingly writing and painting on the walls and tables or chairs, willingly using the toilet without flushing…
Are the governments to be blamed? The little things we do matter, those little things that we strive to do every day will definitely amount to something, just like the popular saying “A little drop of water makes a mighty ocean”.
Since I want nature to be a relevant thing in our world, I try to enlighten people on how delicate our world and nature are. Many people are ignorant about the damage they cause to nature, while some know but still continue because they feel like nobody can hold them.
There are a lot of times when I’d see people, and they will pack out their trash and burn them outside, this habit is very common around here and people almost believe it is normal or smart because you wouldn’t be wasting money on thrash disposer. My mom used to do this until we (me and my siblings) corrected her.
The burning doesn’t only affect the ozone layer and pollute the air but it affects and disturbs people around. The little things that we do matter, whatever we want the world to become is what we are to do when we have the opportunity.
Anything that would affect nature, I don’t like them. One thing I know that I am faithful to is not littering the streets, all the garbage will eventually enter the waters and affect water bodies. I got this habit from a friend a few years back and I have been practicing it since then, I even try to influence people around me too.
It is good thing to enlighten people about how their role in making the world is important and not only the ones in power.
