Few days back, I celebrated my one year anniversary in this platform. I talked about how I was grateful for all I had achieved in this platform and how it all feels like I started yesterday because I can remember vividly how everything began.
I also talked about my few achievements
in different areas and also how this platform has made me a better person
Talking about goals and achievements, I came into this platform with no set goals. I just wanted to do well. I dreamed of a time when I would have so much hive power that I could help other smaller accounts and encourage them to push on, a time when I would be a curator too. I also dreamed of a time when my earnings from hive could sufficiently sort out all my bills and I wouldn't have to do many other jobs to augment.
This was actually a long term goal as I didn't put a time frame to it but so far, I can say that I haven't done badly.
For now I can boast of a few achievements in different areas and I'm so grateful for them.
Some of these areas are ;
My Reputation -
We all know that we begin our journey here with a reputation of 25. In this one year of my stay here, I have been able to grow it to level 64. It really wasn't easy but I'm happy I made it that far.
My hive power
I have also been able to grow my hive power to about 700. Although it is relatively small, it's still something and I hope to do better as time goes on.
I have also become a full member in the hivelearners community and have made quite a few friends too.
Although the year is fast coming to a close, I have decided to set some goals for the this remaining part of the year. I think setting goals would help me evaluate my progress and also help me keep focus too
Amongst the goals for the rest of the year, the top of it will be to increase my followership as I have just discovered that I am lacking so much in that area, I have less than a 100 followers and I'm really not proud of it. I intend to raise it to atleast 100 before the year runs out.
I would also try to raise my hive power to atleast 1500 and my reputation to about 69. I know this is not be easy but I also know that it's possible. With diligence , creativity and commitment, I know I would make it.
