Is there anyone anywhere in the world who can not go without his or her phone just for an hour or two? I know that there's nothing impossible and maybe there are people put there in the world who are like that but it just seems to bizarre because, stating the obvious, it will only be for one hour and in that sixty minutes, the person can go on to take a walk, read a book, go hang out with family or friends, or go do one of other thousand things that is possible in the world.
Personally, I can go an hour with Mt phone. I can even go a full day without it. I use my phone a lot, and aside from my physical jobs and my laptop computer, my phone is my other workstation. I'm always on it, sorting out something, seeing a video, or working. The other day, I went out to play snooker around the corner of my house, and when it was time to leave, I couldn't find my phone, and I panicked. It was later on that I recalled that I had turned on the torchlight, so we would use it since it was late in the evening. I got home and told my friends that I had made up my mind to even get the people there arrested by the next day if I hadn't found my phone. Whether or not I would have done that in that situation, I don't know. But I would be so sad from losing it cause a lot of very important documents and personal and non-personal stuff are in there. I mean, if there was an outbreak of any sort, my phone is like the first thing I'd be saving(human life excluded).
Regardless of that, I can do without my phone. I put away my phone when I'm at my physical job, when I'm in church, when I'm at gatherings, when I'm speaking even to my elder siblings or just anyone so why can't I do without it for an hour. I use my phone very much, but I would never be one to be addicted. The heavy reliance of this present generation and the world at large to their phones is very disturbing. Everywhere you turn, people have their heads buried in their phones, aone making good use of it others just mindlessly involved but most of all, people are addicted and can throw tantrums if they are made to put it away. Many people spend more time using their phones than they spend doing anything else, including resting and sleeping. Teenagers would get home from school, and the very first thing they reach for is their phone, and if not supervised, they can use it all day without caring about anything else. Many accidents can be linked to the overuse and addiction to phones. For this reason, I appreciate places and opportunities that limits phone use because it helps people get involved with other things especially to get in tune with the reality of the outside world and build a life outside their phones.
