Hello and Good Day, Wonderful People of Hive! 🌻
Back in school, I remember teachers saying,
“Just do well in Matric, and life will be smooth like butter.” 😊
So I believed them.
But once we got to college, things got tougher 🥶
Then came the next line:
“Work hard in Intermediate, get into a good university and your future is set!” 🤪😂😂
Again, I believed them. But guess what? I didn't get great scores and couldn’t get into a good degree. 😓
Out of curiosity, I kept searching for the truth!
I talked to people who did get good grades… who did go to good universities… who did land great jobs. I thought I’d hear stories of success and satisfaction.
But instead, every single one of them had another goal, another worry, another mountain to climb. Not one person said, “I’ve made it. I’m done.”
That really made me think.
🧭 Is Success Really a Destination?
So many of us were taught to see success like it’s a place, a final stop.
But life doesn’t really work that way.
Everyone is dealing with something.
Some are stressed about money.
Some are waiting for children.
Some are heartbroken.
Even when you speak with a millionaire, you will get to know he/she has sleepless nights, relationship issues and business problems.
So… if no one feels like they’ve arrived, is success even a destination at all?
🌱 My Take
I believe success is not a destination but a way of living.
It cannot be a moment or a day when everything becomes perfect for ever.
It’s about standing up, trying again, learning, growing and finding peace in small wins.
We are all on our ways, but maybe success is not on any finish line, it’s about how we walk on the road.
Thanks for reading. Would love to hear your thoughts too!
Let’s grow together 🌱
