Taking my mind back to the past year, the things that happened from then till now are great developments. Last year December was a year I noticed a great change in my life. Measuring last year till date, I will say I am impressed with my constant self growth. I can boldly say that my personal growth this December is something different from what I said goodbye to last year.
There was something particular I wanted to key into last year but I was grappled with so much doubt , lots of thoughts on if I can, I questioned my ability on the path I wanted to go and so much doubt clouded my mind, I flagged it off and focused on other things.
When we crossed over to this year, I knew without anyone telling anything that I needed a new plan for myself, and that was when the strong desire to go into UIUX design kept pressing the button and I found this sense of assurance that it wouldn't be a waste of time. After making my inquiry, I found out it's not something that can be done with a cell phone. I needed a PC, my first move to achieve that was sourcing for money which wasn't a smooth journey but one I was able to conquer. I purchased the laptop and that has been a game changer.
I enrolled for a scholarship in Hertechtrail Foundation and lucky I was selected, that platform opened me to an opportunity of continuous three months learning. While last year was more on physical learning, trying to perfect my craft skills, this year is more about digital skill.

The most transformative facet has been my step to time management. I doubt if it was last year that I'm learning this skill I would be able to run it till the end. I was not very well organized as I found myself always busy doing nothing, taking what I'm not supposed to take seriously. Being able to blog and still learn shows a sense of priorities and it has helped in positive results.
Also, in my relationship with others, I will say there is great improvement from what it was last year. Last year, I know myself to be one who is very hesitant to express my feelings or something to others. But this year, there is a great difference, confidence has become a part of my conversation with others. I have been more vulnerable and that was what I lacked last year.
This new growth has really helped my relationship with others and created a sense of familiarity and belonging
Answering the question, what does these growths mean to me? Personally I will say that the setbacks of my last year awoke me to my self discovery this year. It makes me see the best version of myself and I'm happy because it gives me inner joy and satisfaction seeing myself growing and learning. In whatever we do or want to do, overcoming self doubt and taking a first move gives us the satisfaction we never expect at the end.
