Reincarnation is one belief I doubt so much. Growing up, I heard my grandma using words like, In her next world, she won't want to be this; she won't want to be that. My mom's belief in the same thing made me try to convince her one day that there is nothing like life after death.
No matter how I tried, this woman was very adamant. I ended up concluding that "whatever we believe is what we see; even when there is or is not truth in it, we still believe in it." I didn't want to argue with her beccreause I had heard stories that sounded true. Even with these stories, I am still not convinced, although some will say a child returned to the world the second time; maybe he or she has a mark of a deceased member of that family.
We can make different choices in seconds due to what life presents to us at that instance. Life is always sweet when we see what we expect and when everything aligns with the kind of reality we dream of. A man who finds meaning in life by being happy won't have a second thought about leaving an environment that leaves him with nothing but sadness on a regular basis.
The truth is that if I have the ability to reincarnate, I will partially go for a life that looks like what I'm living currently. I will opt for something slightly different in some aspects; I would like to experience life in different ways. I don't want to choose my present financial status, but in terms of personal values, I would definitely want to retain my core values: compassion, kindness, generosity, and empathy.
Sometimes, we hear people say they don't want to know why they were born into their nationality. I know there are so many things that can make any country bad, but realizing that there is no perfect country can help us deal with this mindset of trying to leave one's country for another.
While I would want to remain in my country and work hard to establish myself, With the knowledge that people in other countries also work hard to become rich, simply send one message, which is that we should not try to run but try to make things better, and that better starts by working well ourselves.
For my gender, while it is very difficult to decide, I will still make a choice. Sometimes, many say I'm supposed to be born a man because of the hustling and workaholic spirit they see in me. I know I can work for anything that would help me in a positive way. I wouldn't say I would have been a perfect being if I were a guy, but I love my gender.
For my family, I would definitely like to be born into my family. There are so many people in my family who are precious jewels to me that I wouldn't want to trade for anything else. I don't really see anything that would make me want to opt for a new family, unless I just want to taste what it means to have unkind parents.
One thing I would like to change about myself is my temperament. That self-reserved nature of mine is something that doesn't work for this current society of ours. Being vocal and social can get us to different places, open doors, make us meet people, get connections, and familiarize us with others.
