I decided to talk on this topic today because it has been on my mind for a while now and I just decided to share it here. Everyone wants to be educated in one way or the other and that made me to compare the education in my country to education in another country, when I see how learning takes place and it is been handle outside the country I always get jealous and always look for an opportunity to go outside the country and learn.

Student decided to be educated and enroll for higher studies by gaining admission into the university in other to be exposed to new things and I will use a student who gained admission into a university to study Engineering (Electrical engineering) and he is using a total of 5 years for the duration of the study, so during the time of learning they were not exposed to practical aspect of ELECTRICAL Engineering and what they based on is theoretical aspect by proving laws and solving mathematical solutions and now an ordinary man who go to an electrical workshop who didn't even go to school at all was able to pass through all the practical aspect which is required of him.
After the 5years came to an end, can you believe that a student who came out with a first class in the university was not able to run a wire connection of a house and compare to the ordinary man who didn't go to school at all but just the electrical workshop who was able to run a House connection without opening any book for guide.
Staying at the electrical workshop was not up to 2 years and he was able to run a connection then look at the one who spent 5 years reading all through theoretically and could run a connection.
I have seen more people who aren't educated but they venture into business which they have been into it for years now and they making great income from it. So for me not everyone will be educated in other to make it. Even looking at the learning system of the country, to me I see is as if it has failed.
This country do not have enough material and equipment for them to run practical aspect which can be used to educated student compare to other country. A student studying Electrical engineering in other country will sure be able to run a connection even before graduating because there are lots of practicals which will be done in the course of study.
I will like to know your view for this question.
