It's the 31st of the month of December and the last day of the year 2024, I know it's not just me who thinks this year ran so fast like it almost never happened. I can still remember very well what happened in January like it happened yesterday and then February, when I left home for my service. Now, I'm here feeling grateful and enjoying the holidays in the end of the year 2024.
I wish holidays don't have an end but I think that is what makes every holiday memorable for us, we get excited and look forward to the next after being serious or busy with life and it's sometimes harsh Realities. This year have been a great mix for me, the good days, stressful days and fun days all made it a memorable year. The holiday have been great and it's almost time for goodbye.
The holiday started with my preparation to travel back to my mum's as school was about to go for their vacation. I almost got delayed to not travel at the time I had planned but it was sorted out soon enough to get on a ride back home. Getting home, I'm met with a lot of activities lined up including events and plans for the new year coming. All that got me hyped about my holiday.
The first fun activity in my short holiday was a get together with my church members, it was a memorable one where we gifted and got gifted. I love singing so it was more memorable with the opportunity to sing a lot that day too. I also got to visit some new places in the state, it was an interesting and beautiful experience.
The highlight of my holiday is the two weeks training experience I signed up for and gained useful knowledge from. I also got to experience work life (9-5) routine that I don't wish to do much of it before getting a good earning source. I met new people, made friends and bonded more with my mum. During this holiday, I also got a goodnews of my employer who put to birth.
With the year coming to an end, the holiday comes to an end too. For me, I'll be back to work (service) this weekend and that is a start of a busy year for me after the fun and relaxing holiday. There's so much I'm looking forward to in the coming year and as I go back to my daily routines and new experiences and one is to be done with my service and go rest at home.
There is also the search for another source of income, personal development plans to follow through with and other plans I'm looking forward to achieving in the coming year. Year 2025 has got to be better than this outgoing year, I'm sure it's everyone's prayer and that's how it supposed to be, "We don't want a better last year" so I'm positive and excited about the coming year.
