How do one with so many dreams have to share just one out of them? I was so confused on the adventure I'd love to explore if I have the chance. Believe me, this adventure I choose is as exciting as the others I have in mind too but I have to share only one and I think this kinda covers a lot of my adventure dream.
Anyone who has been reading closely to my blog would know that I'm a huge fan of Korean movies and that is for many reasons. I would have said I'd love to explore their foods, culture and many others but it seemed like a small dream compared to my second thought. So my adventure dream is to explore Jeju Island.
Oh yeah! Jeju Island is a Province of Korea like they have Seoul, Busan, Incheon and others. I've seen quite a lot of their modern day series to confirm that Jeju Island is one their favourite spot for adventure. Jeju is the only province with an island, making it a special autonomous province in Korean.
I've always wanted to visit an island, especially when I see them in those pirate movies like the one I recently saw in "One Piece". A city surrounded by water, so fascinating to imagine and there's one worth visiting in Korea.
It is definitely going to be a rare adventure for me that I would cherish for a long time. I'm not sure how my first experience in an adventure would be like and how I'd feel about it but that's the essence of having the adventure and so, I'm choosing to explore Jeju Island if I get the chance.
Why Jeju Island?
Jeju or Jeju Island or Jeju-do, whatever they call it is the same place and one known for all it's adventurous beauties. It's well known for it's emerald waters and sandy beaches. Emerald waters means the water there is transparent and green in colour which I find really thrilling to imagine. Waters on sea are mainly blue in colour but it is different in Jeju Island.
There is also the beach resorts they are known for, I've seen in the movies that they do shoot a lot of scenes from these beaches or in the resort showing the beauty of the place. I've never been to a beach before, sadly so this would be in my first list of places to visit in Jeju Island.
There are mountains, dormant volcano, hiking trails and a popular Temple called Gwaneumsa. I may have seen them in their movies but I know for sure that seeing them in real life would be life transforming for me.
What do I hope to achieve with this adventure?
It is mainly the experience and having it ticked off on my bucket list. I can bet that having this memory in mind would build for much more better future for me. Going to Jeju Island would automatically make me experience a bit of Korean's lifestyle from their food, culture to even their dressing styles.
It would be hard to be myself in such a place and I think I'll love such an experience for a once in a lifetime or maybe more if the opportunity presents itself again. I'll also get to have stories to tell when it's all over, that is if I'd want it to be over lol.
In all, I'll not be the same as I am now if I should go on such an adventure and I would love that totally. A life changing adventure with so much to look forward to with no worries of expenses hehe.
