When I hear "The holiday is coming", I can't help but also hear the expenses that would be coming with it as if it has voices too lol. The holiday is a time a lot of people look forward to for their rest, getting together with families and many forget it's also a time to get prepared for the next year and all the work load to come.
The rest and having fun during holidays takes priority so much that people cause the hike in prices for most items especially the ones that are important to celebrate the holidays.
When it's the holiday time, there is high demand and prices are inflated.
I've seen way too many cases of people spending above their budgets and getting so broke when the holiday is over. This is the exact thing I don't get about holidays tradition. Everyone wants to spend too much that they think they aren't celebrating the holidays if they are not spending enough.
I don't get why holidays shouldn't be just simple, full of happy memories and being contented with little to keep for holiday's end. But no, it doesn't seem that can ever be the case in this life anymore or maybe I should just say, my country since it is where I am.
The high demands during the holidays is alarming!
I wish someone would explain better to me why everyone has to wait till during the holidays to buy some items that could be bought and kept to use for the holidays. I mean, why wait till when there are many people asking for that same product to demand for yours? That is definitely going to cause a reason for those having your demands to hike the prices.
I know of a woman who buys wears that are not on trends, cheaper and very comfortably, she does that long before holidays come and when her kids wear these clothes during the holiday, people compliment their wears then she shares how much she got them. The difference always made people scream how wise she is.
The fact is clear there, high demands results in hike in prices and people are still not getting this right. Some are wiser now, they get to save good amounts by the time holidays are over because they prepared for the holidays early enough.
The inflation on items is even more alarming!
I can't say I'm even very affected by the inflations on items because I know there are people out there who are having it harder than I am and that is because they didn't plan for this at all even though they knew things would be like this. Since I don't celebrate a lot of things many do during this time, I don't really have to spend and I know better to prepare before now so the hike don't throw me off budget.
Like I've said, the too many demands are the main factor for the hike in prices. I was with a clothes seller some days ago, she was like, she would close her shop until it's a few days into the holiday before she starts to sell again and with higher prices for her clothes. I couldn't even blame her because I know people would still go patronize her because they want to blend in too.
It would be really nice and better if people don't observe holidays the way they do, putting out high demands and others hiking prices for too much gains. An Holiday would be joyous, full of celebrations and memorable without all that, I believe so.
