Hi guys!! the newbies initiative has been amazing so far. And for our tasks for this week,#task7 we discussed the topic "Financial Growth Charge"
A big Thanks to our amazing speakers @nkemakonam89, @vickoly, and @starstrings01, who took their time to explain everything on the topic.
I learned a lot from our session on Sunday.
For this week, I partnered with @debby-cwm

Starting anything without setting goals for yourself will lead you nowhere. It's just like leaving your house every day in the morning and walking on the road without knowing where you want to go. All you know is you leave your house every day.
There's a saying that goes, if you don't plan to succeed, you plan to fail.
Everyone wants to be financially free. Most of us would admit that the only reason we joined Hive was to make money. But now we've come to see that there's more to Hive than just making money.
Let's dive right into the questions
Where do you see your hive growth in the next 6 months, one year, and 2 years? What are the strategies you will adopt to achieve that?
My goal on Hive for the next 6 months, is to, be able to write consistently.
Grow my HP to at least 2k.
Another of my goals is to form genuine and quality relationships with others on the chain.
To be Reputable.
Grow my savings to at least 250HBD
Invest in some second-layer tokens
My goals for the next 1 year/2 years are to grow, and also be able to groom newbies on Hive. I've seen Hive to be more than a place to be financially free, but a place to grow, learn, and meet amazing people.
Grow my HP and also have a lot of investments within 1 year.
Grow my savings to at least 600 HBD.
Hold many second-layer tokens.
Strategies I will adopt to achieve this goal
Engage: we all know how networking works, the same thing applies to engagement. I plan on making genuine and meaningful comments, and friends, and also upvoting posts.
Participate in community contests and earn rewards.
Invest in some tokens
Share quality content Say no to low-effort posts.
Explore* You can't know what's happening around the chain if you don't explore.
Make a summary of your understanding of the just-concluded tutorial
Hive is so vast that you can't know everything. For you to know what's happening on Hive you need to explore.
( For you to know a city, you have to go out there and explore) the same thing applies to Hive. Don't always wait for your on-boarder or someone to tell you what's happening or what to do. Go out there and explore.
Have the mindset to be reputable, don't just stay on Hive for the fact that you want to make money, but because you want to add value to the chain. Making low-effort posts is a big no. Share good and quality content. Don't just make a post because you want to post and earn. . your word count should be at least 200 depending on the community you're posting to.
Also, research some topics you don't understand before making a post.
Knowledge is power they say.
Most times we feel so relaxed, that all we do is make a post, sit back, relax, and wait for curators to come and upvote our post.
Hey! Wake up!! It doesn't work like that. If you want to grow on Hive, you need to go out there, comment, and upvote on others' posts.
Imagine everyone folding their hands, and all they do is hit the publish button and lay back for upvotes. Well, you know the rest.
Once you start making money on Hive, start to invest. We all know that investing helps you to expand your wealth.
Don't just invest because I said so, ask questions before you put your money into anything.
Always try as much as possible to participate in contests because when you do so, you position yourself to earn more. Imagine winning 100Hive and 10 HBD just by doing simple tasks hmm. Depending on only your payout isn't a good idea, and the contests on Hive are very easy to do and participate in. You don't have to go to South Africa to take a picture with a lion before you're eligible to participate.
