The newbies initiative has been nothing but amazing, it still feels like yesterday since the project started and now we're rounding up already. We learned so much during this initiative that I'm 100% sure every newbie, doesn't want to miss an opportunity like this one, so if you're a newbie on Hive and you're still trying to figure out how the blockchain works, make sure to follow the @Hivelearners community to stay updated for the next batch of the newbies initiative.
From the games activity to the Sunday hangouts, to partnering with so many amazing people, it has been an amazing ride. Thanks to this newbies initiative, we made lots of friends and had so many genuine connections with one another.
Just like every other time, we're always given a task for the week. For this task, we were asked to pair in a group of 3 persons and come up with a project, that would bring value to the Hive ecosystem. After brainstorming with my team, we finally came up with an amazing project

My Team consists of @psalmmy264, @beeeee, and me. I'm so glad I had the privilege to work with such amazing team members, After days of brainstorming on what we could do, that would benefit the Hive ecosystem, and at the same time, change people's lives, we finally came up with this Project.
Reach is a project where we reach out to students, especially high school, and university students, we support them with Textbooks and notebooks, and in turn, we tell them about Hive. And how all these we do is made possible with Hive.
Our Aim and Vision
We aim to market Hive little by little while impacting people's lives.
Make Hive known in Nigeria
Get to students, especially the ones with smartphones
Change people's Lives through Hive
Support students who are struggling to get studying materials
We plan on doing this at least once every month, that way, we have people talking about it.
Also create a social media platform for this project to create more awareness, and document All of our progress, so everyone spending time on the web2 platform that comes across our page, would want to know more about the project that's assisting students. #Hive29ja #onestepatatime
Where do we start?
Since we have more people aware of Hive in Lagos, we plan on starting from there and later expanding to other states, even as we grow.
How do we start?
We're in this together, we know how much Hive has impacted our lives and how much we know this would help a lot of students.
We can create a platform where we can donate money to get books to people, distance is never a barrier.
We plan on having at least one team in every state in Nigeria, it's a gradual process and also one step at a time.
Hive is an amazing platform, and I'm sure we can impact people's lives while telling them about Hive, and how Hive has changed so many lives.
We're so proud of this project because it holds a lot of value and it impacts people's lives. This is a reminder that you don't need to have all the money in the world before you can impact and change people's lives.
