However, there are situations in which dislike goes beyond the limits of what is acceptable, turning into harmful and intentional behavior. When this happens, it's essential to know how to recognize the signs and understand what actions to take to protect your well-being and prevent these situations from affecting your life in a negative way.
Speaking for myself, I usually avoid any kind of conflict. I don't like wasting time on things like that, especially as there are other areas of my life that need my energy and thoughts. For me, there's no point in brooding over someone who simply doesn't like me for some reason. I'm indifferent, because I know that it's impossible to please everyone and perhaps this is a type of thinking that we can only mature through time.
Of course, I wasn't always like this, but over time you realize that what really matters are your attitudes and not what people think about you. One very important thing I've learned is that we shouldn't allow someone else to have power over us to the point of making us upset or angry just because they like us or not. If that happens, I'm sorry to say, but that person is dominating you and getting what they want. Ignoring, for me, is the best choice. Usually, when people who hate you realize that they are being ignored, they become confused and stop putting you at the center of their lives. This is because they are looking for conflict and, when you don't participate, they don't have much to do to try to affect you and end up forgetting about you. Feeding this hatred will only add fuel to the fire.
Some people who hate you will try to tarnish your image and affect you even externally. After all, they want to see you look bad, and that means happiness for them. But as soon as this happens and the person breaks the law in some way, the solution is simple: just take legal action and let justice do its job. You don't have to do anything against them directly, and that's the right way to resolve things. Why bother? There are smart ways to solve problems without getting worn out.
I don't remember ever having to go to court because someone tried to hurt me just because they hated me, except in one case of an ex-friend who threatened me after I cut ties with him. I've told this story before, but I didn't have to do anything other than seek the right means to resolve the problem. After he was summoned by the courts, the problem was over. Until that happened, I simply ignored it and went about my life. What else could I do? There are things that aren't worth our thought and concern, and I think that anyone who wastes time on them isn't making a good decision.
Imagine having to take action for every act committed, every offense hurled having to be rebutted and every attitude fought back. That would be madness and a war in which you would be defeated. It's just a waste of time. I know that nobody likes to be offended or attacked by someone who hates them for whatever reason, but it takes wisdom to deal with it in a way that stops what is happening and doesn't turn the situation into something bigger.
Even for complex things there are simple ways out. Of course, dealing with people isn't easy, but you are the master of your actions. The best way is to ignore it and, if the problem persists or things get more serious, take legal action. In the midst of all this, carry on living. You can't let people control and own your thoughts. Life is short and you can't waste it on someone who just hates you. If someone hates you, it's their problem, not yours.

Uma coisa muito importante que aprendi é que não devemos permitir que outra pessoa tenha poder sobre nós a ponto de nos deixar chateados ou enfurecidos apenas por gostarem de nós ou não. Se isso acontece, sinto muito em dizer, mas essa pessoa está dominando você e conseguindo o que quer. Ignorar, para mim, é a melhor escolha. Normalmente, quando as pessoas que te odeiam percebem que estão sendo ignoradas, elas ficam confusas e param de te colocar no centro da vida delas. Isso porque essas pessoas buscam conflitos e, quando você não participa, elas não têm muito o que fazer para tentar te afetar e acabam te esquecendo. Alimentar esse ódio alheio só colocará mais lenha na fogueira.
Algumas pessoas que te odeiam vão tentar denegrir sua imagem e te afetar até mesmo de forma externa. Afinal, elas querem te ver mal, e isso significa felicidade para elas. Mas, a partir do momento em que isso acontece e a pessoa infringe a lei de alguma forma, a solução é simples: basta buscar meios judiciais e deixar que a justiça faça sua parte. Você não precisa fazer nada contra ela diretamente, e essa é a maneira certa de resolver as coisas. Para que se preocupar com isso? Existem meios inteligentes de resolver problemas se se desgastar.
Eu não me lembro de ter precisado recorrer à justiça por conta de alguém que tentou me prejudicar apenas por me odiar, exceto em um caso de um ex-amigo que me ameaçou depois que cortei os vínculos com ele. Não se pode deixar que as pessoas tenham o controle e a posse dos seus pensamentos. A vida é curta e não podemos desperdiça-las com alguém que apenas nos odeia. Se alguém te odeia, o problema é dela e não seu.
