There are critical moments in our lives when the fine line between moral duty and necessity becomes delicate. However, we know that we wouldn't be able to live well after breaking that value that accompanies us. For me, the greatest moral code is honesty.
It's easy to be honest on ordinary days, when necessity doesn't knock on your door. But try being honest in a time of great need, with an opportunity to benefit, even if it means passing someone else by. If you can get through it without corrupting yourself, that will be your moral code.
I believe in honesty. But it's that honesty that feels good, that you feel good about being honest, even if no one knows. There will be times when you can do whatever you want, or take an action that will never be discovered, but you choose to do the right thing and that is part of you, there is no second option.
There have been many opportunities in my life when, if I hadn't been honest, I might have done well in certain situations. However, I have always chosen to keep my conscience clear of any wrongdoing. Going to bed at night knowing that I don't owe anyone anything and that I would never make a fool of anyone is what I'm all about.
