Life itself is a pressure on its own; every day, waking up to witness and experience new and old things and giving your best to be productive in this competitive world, is a pressure. Growing up, I have experienced so many overwhelming things in life, some turned out to be good, some not so good and some very bad, but the truth is we all learn from these mistakes, and it's part of life.

There is one phenomenon about life I have noticed, which is that not having good mental health will really affect a person's way of life and focus, and this can also affect his or her growth and the people around them. This is why we need to be careful of the people we share our information with and also learn to grow mentally by reading books and sharing our thoughts with wise people or friends because this can really affect our perspectives of seeing things around us. The negative part of it is that it can lead to depression or low self-esteem, whereby we no longer see the value in ourselves.
Personally, i see a Gap year as not negatively, but for a positive impact, life is short, even though we aim higher or even rise and fall we will all end one day, sometimes experiences in life can be overwhelming or maybe life or economy might hit us, we dont get to fight it, we face it and embrace ourselfs. I have experienced Mental trauma and trust it, it's far worse than we can think if we don't get hold of ourselfs and fight it, some heal faster, some it takes a year or more we all have our individual diffrences but one thing is certain which i know is that, a gap year creates time to focus, concentrate and redirect ourselfs om the right things to do so we dont get lost in the journey of life.
To some people, they may say that within that year, they did not learn anything, but the truth is that at least their minds are in the right direction, and they are focused on themselves and not lost in thoughts, because mental stress is real, and the negative aspect of it is really dangerous. I believe a well-used gap year can really help reshape our goals and direction into the right path and also strengthen our relationships with people and our sense of direction.
A gap year is not just about taking time off work or school, to me I see it as a time to heal and regain focus on ourselves on what to do in life. It's about taking time to heal and gain full focus in life on what to do next, and this is very important to notice because it helps a man reset and refocus himself into doing the right things that may help his Mental and physical growth, and also career growth.
