The newbies initiative is a great plan to help newbies like myself to understand the hive blockchain more. I was introduced to hive two months ago by my friends @barry405 and @gone-hive, they explained and guided me on how the hive platform works and it’s beauty and it’s been really fun since then.
I’ve come to understand how hive works perfectly and how to navigate the hive blockchain, I’ve really learnt a whole lot for the past two months.
I joined the hive learners community almost same time of joining hive and been fun and educational along, I’ve learnt about many things including about other people’s culture and traditions, I really love the community. This made me apply for the newbies initiative when it was announced.
In this post, I will be talking about my hive goals for the next three months of the initiative program. For these goals to be achieved, three questions were given.
HIVE POWER GOALS
Hive power(HP) is the legal tender of the hive blockchain. It’s very important to all users and every user needs it in order to make posts on their respective blogs.
Currently, I have 32 Hive power and 5 Hive dollars which I plan to get to 500 Hive power in the next three months of the initiative program. I hope to achieve this by posting more quality contents on the several communities I’m subscribed to
HIVE REPUTATION GOALS
I currently have a reputation of 51 and I will love to attain a reputation of 60 in the next three months. This would be attainable when I post more on my blog and engages other members posts and I’m really ready to do that now even though work and some other things do not permit me to do them often.
HIVE FOLLOWERS GOAL
I have just 8 followers on hive which is very low for someone that joined hive about two months ago. I hope to get to about 400 followers in the next three months and I hope to achieve this by engaging other members,following them and posting quality contents too. I believe with this, I will get to increase my followers.
HIVE COMMENTS GOALS
I believe you make new friends on hive especially by commenting on other user’s posts frequently and by also replying their comments on your posts.
I don’t really have many comments currently because I’ve not really been active because of some circumstances but I hope to increase the way I comment and respond to comments in the next three months. I will have to achieve this by reading at least 10 posts per day and making sure I engage all the posts I read and also respond to people’s comments on my posts.
HIVE ENGAGEMENTS GOALS
There’s this joy that comes to you when people engage your posts. I really need to engage other hive members posts more by upvoting and commenting on their respective posts interacting with them and getting to know them more.
This would be achieved by interacting more with several hive members, this way, you gain more followers and also gain reputation in the community.
MY CHALLENGES
Time: This is a great challenge to me because I have some things I’m doing so I don’t always have the time to come to hive to post contents and interact with other members. I will have to plan myself very well and create time for hive because I really love Hive so much.
Stress: Most times I get stressed out from work and not having the strength to write contents and engage people’s posts but I believe with determination, I will achieve my goals.
APPRECIATION AND CONCLUSION
I want to appreciate all the newbies-hive initiative team like @starstrings01, @mistural, @projectmamabg and others for coming together to put up this initiative program to help the newbies.
