Fear? is a natural emotion that affects everyone, but some people are better at controlling and overcoming their fears than others. My greatest fear to this day is losing my mother; yes, I don't want to lose my mother, not now or in the future, but I know it's impossible, because we are all human, and the prayers have always been that children should bury their parents, not otherwise, so I'm still going to lose her, but not now, because my prayer has always been for God to give her a long life so she can see my children or, more likely, grandchildren.
My mother is literally my backbone; without her, I would be without the most important source of advice, courage, and encouragement. As a result, I don't think I'd be able to cope with the grief of that loss. It's as if the energy has gone out in my world, and nothing will be able to make up for it.
When one of my roommates lost her mother a few years ago, she was devastated. And, as I sympathized with her, she informed me that, just before her mother died, the two of them had a fight, and they couldn't speak to each other for two days. Her greatest regret now is that the final memories she has of her mother are of unresolved fights. It's depressing! Her experience, on the other hand, taught me how to deal with my fear;
Resolved Any Issue As Soon As Possible
Learning from my friend's experience, I don't want to have any issues with my mother, and if something does happen (which is unlikely because my mother and I don't usually quarrel), I'll make sure it's resolved as soon as possible; addressing any conflicts, accommodating one another, and tolerating each other.
Giving My All To My Mother
Another thing I intend to do to overcome my fear of losing my mother is to make up my mind to love her and give my all while she is still alive. My goal is to work hard and become financially independent so that I can take care of her and show appreciation for all of the sacrifices she has made for me and my brother. I want us to go throughout the world, making beautiful and unforgettable moments that will live on in my heart forever.
However, I do not expect my mum to pass away very soon. As I previously stated, I make sure to pray for her every day, asking God to spare her for me and grant her a long life so she can see my children and grandchildren.
