As a mom ,preparing our food in every meal is one of our struggle.
Maybe some you here can relate the struggle I've been facing everyday.
It's not easy especially when were running out of budget.
I feel the struggle when my kids doesn't like the food I prepared ,they don't like to veggies honestly and they prefer to eat those process foods which is not good for them.
And as a mom ,I tried to make to process food food a healthy for them by adding some eggs and leave vegetables.

This recipe I will be sharing to you here is my entry for this #creative-sunday.
There are different ways on cooking the mung beans or we called it monggos ,and this recipe I will share to you is my favorite one.
All you have to prepare is the mung beans (this is one of the cheaper vegetables in our market)
Spices like onion ,garlic ,tomato , bell pepper and black pepper.
We will added some green leafy vegetables like malungay and spinach.
For a better taste ,we will use some meat but we don't have it ,we only have here the bangus crackers .
How to prepare it?
Just wash the mung beans and prepare the spices we needed.And boiled it for about 30 minutes until it cooked.
In a hot pan ,add a little amount of cooking oil to saute the spices.
Then add the boiled mung beans and add some salt and pepper to taste.
After a few minutes ,add the vegetables .
Add water if needed.
Then add the crackers and serve it while it's hot .Prepare your rice and enjoy your meal☺️
Believe it or not ,I only spent $1 for this recipe and it's enough for five persons.
For the mung beans I spent 20 pesos($0.50)
For spices as well($0.37)
For the cracker it cost 10 pesos or $0.17).
A total of $1.04.
For the vegetables ,I didn't buy it ,I take it from our garden.
So ,that's it for my easy ,quick and a low budget recipe that you can try for your family.
This recipe is good for those who really struggle our daily food like me hihihi.
In budgeting our daily needs ,we need to be more creative and more resourceful☺️
