Still in the mode of celebrating 100 weeks of featured prompts on this wonderful community and I'm happy to be part of the those celebrating this milestone achievement. It has really been an awesome experience for me, I've learned a lot and still learning from this great community which has helped my blogging journey to be swift.
At first, when the prompt word count was increased from 300 to over 500 words, I thought my journey in the HL community had come to an end because I just imagined how on earth will I sit down and construct over 500 words for a post when I'm still struggling with 300 word count.
The first post 500 words post I engaged in took me several hours to write, I was exhausted and felt like giving up. But with determinations I took the courage to write another one then after that, I started improving and here I am today not the best but I know I'm not where I use to be, I've improved greatly all thanks to this loving community, I'm just excited to have come across Hive learners community.
This amazing community has really helped me to be regular on Hive through the weekly featured contests. I can't be with my phone in thirty minutes without checking what's going on in HL discord channel. Going through the featured-post-promotion, I have access to numerous posts from community members. Even if I'm not posting, I will be engaging with other lovely authors in the community.
So through consistency I've been able to engage more with fellow community members and also makes friend with them. Also, through different weekly topics we all engaged in, my knowledge about different types of things has been widen talk of food, clothing's, health, professional fields etc. So I can proudly say, I've learned a lot from HL and I'm so excited.
My greatest accomplishment is writing a post and people that don't know who I am will find it meaningful to the extent that I will have upvotes and comments......this shocked me a lot. My first blog on hive was in HL apart from my introductory post and I just gave it a try because blogging wasn't my thing at all when it's not Mathematics or Chemistry π€£π€£.
So being able to think and write meaningful posts is my greatest accomplishment; my writing skill is improving daily and I must thank HL and the entire Hive blockchain for that.
Using improper tags, not proof feeding my posts very well before posting, not spacing my post wordings, and not going through a community rule before jumping on a contest was some of my errors. I kept making mistakes at the beginning but along the line I learn from moderators, my onboarder and also from the newbie initiative program which had really helped my improvement on the blockchain
At first I thought the entire Hive blockchain is a ponzi scheme that was why I didn't join the platform immediately my onboarder introduced Hive to me, it took me 2 months to make the decision to give it a try. I can't ever imagine, how someone will be able to earn from writing articles without anyone collecting money initially for registration or sign up.
Everything here is just so free and you are the sole controller of your account, all what is needed for you is to learn from others, be original then follow the rules then you are good to go.
I'm just so excited to know about Hive and I'm super grateful to come across Hive Learners community.
