We humans grow up differently, the way we all reasons are quite different so in one way or the other, arguments are most likely going to happen. When two or three people are engaging in a conversations, they are likely to end up with an argument if they all want to prove their points in the cause of the conversations. So to me, argument is like a reflex action.
There are some people who are quick to respond to a talk while some reason before they talk. People who like arguing always want to prove their points and they care less about other people's opinions.
It's a complete nonsense to me because I believe everyone has their own way of reasoning, so if someone says a thing and it doesn't go well with you, move on and don't try to impose what you felt is the right thing on others.
I grew up with a nuclear family that is myself, parents and siblings only, I wasn't exposed at all to any member of my extended family until I became a teenager, so my life had been peaceful and as well simple right from onset.
I've grown to love being in the midst of a small circle of friends and even at work or anywhere I find myself. I do have preference in people I relate with, just one or at most two people who are my close pals.
Fortunately, I move with people whose reasonings are like mine, people who just love to engage in a healthy conversation, gist about trending news and plan ahead for their future. Not people engaging in talks that will lead to unending arguments that will eventually lead to a conflict. I'm a peace loving lady, so are my friends!
But to be honest the only person I frequently have issues with because of how hot tempered she is, is my elder sister. She is so swift in responding to a talk and sometimes doesn't want to hear anyone's opinion at all. My elder sister always wants everyone to agree with her because she thinks she's always right. This is one of her flaws that is difficult to change so I always talk to her to change her mentality.
She and my younger sister usually fight back to back, so they do put me in the middle, as the peace maker of the family. All I do is calm them down first then hear from both parties about what led to the argument. I don't judge anyone, all I do is point out each of their mistakes and ask them to reach an agreement that's all.
I'm certainly proud of how peaceful my life has been and I'm loving it. I've been minding my business right from onset so I avoid arguments as much as possible. But in a situation whereby it's inevitable, I try my best to keep calm, say my own view then walk away to avoid physical confrontation.
In all, I do let Peace Reign wherever I am because I believe in a peaceful co-existence with anyone I meet but if anyone wants to tamper with my peace of mind then I've learn to walk away.
