Hello Hivians, hope you all have been doing good? Welcome to my blog!
Shopping is part of our daily lives and without it we all can't survive, we can shop in two ways either by physical or online shopping.
Physical shopping is when you get to look round for what suit your taste either in the market or in a shopping mall and also get to meet the vendors to check and feel whatsoever you intend to purchase while online shopping is when you get to preorder goods from an online vendors in which some orders are either pay on delivery or before delivery.
I believe everyone might have used and still using the two methods of shopping, there are benefits and disadvantages that can be derived from the two. It's now left to you to decide which of the two methods will be your shopping preference.
I do use both method of shopping, I majorly use the online shopping for ordering of snacks and drinks. I have a baker who bakes weekly based on preorder, so I'm sure of what she sells and I know it a freshly baked snacks which are delivered by a rider. But for wears and food stuffs I can't shop online for it at all.
Considering all things, my shopping preference is still the Physical shopping and I've been using this method since childhood in which I buy products by checking it out thoroughly.
Why I prefer the physical shopping
- With physical shopping you can check out or test what you are about to buy.
For example, for wears there are UK sizes and US sizes, these sizes are confusing to me. It was recently I got to know that, for UK size I wear size 12 which is equivalent to medium in UK while for US size, I wear size 10 which is equivalent to Large in US, these sizes likewise ranges for shoes too, if one isn't sure of these sizes it might lead to a fight between the buyer and the vendor. So shopping physically saves one from arguing with vendors because you will test whatsoever you intend to purchase. And your mind would be at rest that you got what you really wanted.
With physical shopping you can go for window shopping that is you move around to different shops that sells that particular goods you intend to buy to know the price of it. Through that you would probably see different makers of the goods you intend to buy, in that way you get to know the differences in each maker's products and there unique features from one another
With physical shopping, goods are relatively cheaper compare to online shopping. Those online vendors also buys from the market or companies and repackaged for selling.
With physical shopping, faulty goods can be returned.
Just of recent I bought a wristwatch from a vendor's store while in haste, I didn't notice that the minute hand was faulty, it was when I got home that I discovered the fault. The second day, I returned the wristwatch to the vendor's store and he apologized for the stress he had caused me and gave me another one that is working perfectly. But if it were to be an online store changing the faulty product might not be easy at all.
These and many more are the reasons why my preferred mode of shopping is the physical way.
