Some parents don't care; they think because we are now in the world of technology, they can just give their children phones to use at any age. Even those that get tablets for their kids to learn and watch cartoons don't know that there are also consequences for that.
Should I say some parents need to visit the therapist and know how to raise a child in the right way, not because you have money to buy things for them and you think it's the right time to buy it for them? A child at age 10 to 15 is still growing; handling a phone to them at this age with Internet without monitoring them will only cause a lot of harm to them.

And this can lead to premature sex, which can cause lots of damage.Another problem is that these children will not listen to you anymore the moment they have a working phone; you can call them more than ten times before they can hear you.
And the moment they get addicted to that phone, then that's final. You can't even send them messages anymore. My sister will leave food on the fire and then will forget to switch it off until it gets burnt. Lots of things like that—a phone is nothing but a distraction; it will also affect their educational life because they will depend on the phone and not their own knowledge again.My sister, who is writing her WAEC, will press her phone from morning till night, and the moment she eventually carries the book to read, that is the moment she will realize she wants to do something or she wants to sleep.
I need to force her to do a lot of things. She knows once I collect that phone from her, that's final; she isn't going to have it back. I have seen what phones can do to the children; honestly, even we adults are so affected by the damages of these phones. Now imagine the children. In my opinion, I will just say phones should be out of what should be given to children, and honestly, if you don't monitor them, then you will not know the kinds of danger they might have been in.
