I think that the salary depends on the effort that each one of us has made to prepare ourselves at an educational level, whether technical, university or even empirical. It is necessary to demonstrate that what we have learned is useful to generate value and depending on the usefulness of the effort made we will be remunerated to a lesser or greater extent.
It all depends on the area in which a worker works, I take for example my person, I work in the field of evaluation of companies and people for the granting of credit, but for this I had to prepare myself arduously and learn and learn about certain techniques related to finance and accounting, so I receive a salary.
Now, within my urbanization there is a shoemaker that with effort and dedication has proven to be an excellent worker capable of restoring even the most worn shoe, he has learned this profession through the experience he has gained in his life, and the teachings of other shoemakers.
The shoemaker has a high demand for work and this to show an excellent result in their work has the right to charge a price commensurate with the product presented, and their customers pay without complaint because they know that the service is of quality.
This worker earns more than me and that does not bother me at all because his work, commitment and dedication deserves it, and because he really performs a task which I declare myself incompetent.
I would be equally incompetent before a butcher, a mechanic, a bricklayer, an engineer or a doctor. Each of us is useful to society in some way, and for that we receive a salary, sometimes unfairly.
Now, women and men should receive the same pay for work that is equal or similar.
Workers can be discriminated against in terms of pay for various reasons, including their gender. Although the differences in access to education have been remedied, in some countries it is still the case that women study for fewer years than men, because the education of girls is considered less useful or less profitable from an economic point of view. Thus, discrimination in education translates into fewer job opportunities, and therefore there are cases in which the jobs they get are very poorly paid.

If I had a special power to regularize wage injustices, the first thing I would have to do is to try to lower inflation levels, since this affects the level of income, creating uncertainty for people and companies in making decisions when it comes to increasing wages and salaries.
Inflation reduces the value of the currency over time as there is a general increase in prices, resulting in less goods and services being purchased today than yesterday. By simple logic this affects wages and salaries.
In order to stop inflation I would flood the market with goods and services, that is, I would increase the rate of production of inputs and final goods. I would achieve this by increasing public and private investment to generate growth in the number of new companies, as well as expanding the installed capacity of existing ones.
It would avoid the bankruptcy of more companies by providing appropriate conditions for their operation, through fiscal support, strategic alliances, legal certainty and security. Inflation can only be controlled by vigorously boosting market supply.
Once inflation is under control, there would be less pressure and worry on people, and they would be able to budget their expenses efficiently and many people would find themselves in a better position to make the best use of their money.
I would implement in the companies a mandatory continuous evaluation system, especially in workers who are occupying similar or equal positions. I have had jobs in which other people are performing the same tasks as me and my remuneration has been lower, even my knowledge in the work was superior and therefore collaborated to finish some unfinished work. This injustice happened because they were people imposed by recommendations or relatives of the owners of the company.
If the result of these evaluations is positive and demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned tasks, the salary should be adjusted immediately and logically this would rise according to the next performance of the worker. This should be explained very well to the employee to avoid future problems and complaints regarding the salary earned. If a person performs better than another in his job and shows signs of it, there is no reason for him to earn the same as another less qualified and less committed to his job.
I believe that this applies to people of both sexes, since a woman is as capable as a man to perform any job, for me that women are the weaker sex is a simple cliché and therefore societies should allow them to achieve their studies to be able to perform competitively in various jobs.

In conclusion I would say that equal pay is closely associated with the dedication we show in our jobs, the training we get to perform any job or trade, the improvements that are made in economic matters in a country, and the equal right to work for men and women.
A great honor to share my impressions about pay inequality with the Hive Learners community, a place where I share and learn.
