Newbies Initiative
Hello everyone,
We have come to the last task of the newbies initiative which is blockchain games, placing focus on Splinterlands.
Earlier we had, @ksam help us make two tutorials on this topic and also, we arranged a discord meeting where he gave further explanations. To keep in track with these tutorials, we advice to watch the video or read the text explanations of his post.
Iniciativa de Novatos
Hola a todos,
Hemos llegado a la última tarea de la iniciativa de los novatos que son los juegos de blockchain, centrándonos en Splinterlands.
Anteriormente, @ksam nos ayudó a hacer dos tutoriales sobre este tema y también, organizamos una reunión de discordia donde dio más explicaciones. Para no perder de vista estos tutoriales, os aconsejamos que veáis el vídeo o leáis las explicaciones de texto de su post.
TASKS TO PERFORM
The task given is a very simple task and just requires your understanding on the tutorial given. Below is the following task:
A. General Questions to show your understanding of Blockchain Game and Splinterlands (compulsory)
1. Mention 3 Blockchain games and their ingame currency/currencies.
2. What do you understand by NFTs? Of what use are they? How can you acquire/sell them?
3. List the 7 Elements and 4 levels of card rarity on Splinterlands.
B. For those who are interested in Splinterlands game (optional with a prize)
1000 Dec is splinter among authors who attempts task B
4. Create a team:
- Select a Splinter (an element)
- Select a Summoner
- Choose any 6 Monsters from that Splinter (2 Melee attack, 2 Ranged attack and 2 magic attack Monsters)
Just write them down (you can use images to beautify your post).
5. Win a practice game on Splinterlands. Share your game link on the post.

Deadline for this task: 3rd of August 2022.
Please share your posts in the SMILE Discord Server under the #newbies-initiative-posts channel. Please share it too in the comments of this article. For the title, you can use "Newbies Initiative Task 6" and any other thing you want to use. Just be creative.
Note: All entries should be published in the Hive Learners Community, and kindly make use of the tag #nbtask6 as one of your first five tags.
TAREAS A REALIZAR
La tarea que se le ha encomendado es muy sencilla y sólo requiere que entienda el tutorial que se le ha dado. A continuación, la siguiente tarea:
A. Preguntas generales para demostrar su comprensión del juego Blockchain y Splinterlands (obligatorio)
1. Menciona 3 juegos de Blockchain y su moneda/monedas dentro del juego.
2. ¿Qué entiendes por NFTs? ¿Para qué sirven? ¿Cómo se pueden adquirir/vender?
3. Enumera los 7 elementos y los 4 niveles de rareza de las cartas en Splinterlands.
B. Para los interesados en el juego Splinterlands (opcional con premio)
1000 Dec es astilla entre los autores que intenta tarea B
4. Crear un equipo:
- Selecciona una Astilla (un elemento)
- Selecciona un Invocador
- Elige 6 monstruos cualesquiera de esa Esquirla (2 de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, 2 de ataque a distancia y 2 de ataque mágico)
Sólo tienes que escribirlos (puedes usar imágenes para embellecer tu post).
5. Gana una partida de práctica en Splinterlands. Comparte el enlace de tu partida en el post.
