So it was my 2nd hive anniversary 4 days ago, and I woke up this morning trying to find the right words to express myself better about how much this heart is grateful. I reflected on how I celebrated my one year in hive with 1K HP and then my two years in hive with 5K HP, and I couldn't help but feel intrigued 😄 You see why it took me a few days to come up with this post? It's been from one reflection to another on my journey into this blockchain. When I received this badge from Hivebuzz..
I went to my living room and sat exactly on the particular sofa where I stayed to create my hive account. I thought of how reluctant I was to create this account with my onboarder, and my cheeks were wide open in laughter. Then I quickly rushed to DISCORD to appreciate @kenechukwu97 for letting me know this treasure called hive and for his huge support to my hive growth right from day one. I am grateful, big brother.
The journey so far
It's been an amazing 24 months here on Hive, with lots of knowledge I have added to myself through the posts of other great authors. It's been two years of building relationships with people across the globe, learning some of their cultures, and our friendship even extended outside the blockchain. My life has taken a different shape, all because of hive. My way of reasoning, my investment culture, my creativity level, and my zero writing skill prior to finding hive have all grown to an admirable level. Permit me to say that one of the greatest things that has happened to me in the last two years is finding Hive. I wake up to hive each day and end my day in hive, funny right? Lolz. I'm really addicted to this blockchain because it's more than amazing. I wish that hive would last forever so that the next generation would keep benefiting from its awesomeness.
My early days in hive weren't rosy, just like so many other people, but what kept me going all along was staying consistent, whether the market was red or green, whether I got support on my post or not, but the secret of my little growth so far has been engagement. I learned the power of engagement from this community and through the newbie initiatives. Starstrings01, through the newbies, assisted my hive growth. I learned a lot from the program, and I implemented what I was taught. In my little way, I have shown commitment, I have preserved, and I have been showing up daily, supporting other authors, and getting known on the blockchain gradually. This exercise is something I don't plan to stop if time permits.
A good number of times, many hivers have asked me how I cope with my hive activities and motherhood duties, but to be frank with you, finding balance hasn't been easy; it's been grace and also my love for the blockchain. Hive is a treasure I found; it has helped me with my personal development in diverse ways, it has assisted me financially, and I am grateful. For this, I promise to keep supporting the growth of the hive ecosystem in my capacity.
I am grateful for everyone's support on my blogs so far. Your nice comments, your reblogs, your upvotes, and your encouraging words and motivation have been awesome. You all made this testimony a reality. Imagine celebrating my one year hive anniversary with 1k HP, and here I have 5087 HP after two years.
The difference is great, and I am grateful for all the support.
I will love to say a big "thank you" to everyone who's been instrumental to my journey without tagging, please. I love and celebrate you all. I can't pay you back in any way, but just know that I value all your support from the depths of my spirit and soul.
Thank you!
