It all started here in Hive. I never for one day in my life thought of being a blogger, infact I didn't even know I can blog the little I find myself doing here.
I can still vividly remember one faithful day around June last year, my cousin @kenechukwu97 told me about hive. I bombarded him with lots of questions and he explained that it's all about writing, right there I told him I wasn't interested! I couldn't imagine myself blogging, I was like what do I know to blog on? He tried convincing me but hell no, I bluntly rejected that. Fast forward to late last year, something happened which I don't wish to disclose here, sorry and I called him by myself to tell me more about hive and blogging. Long story cut short, I got onboarded by him and it has been a nice experience so far.
When I started , I found it so difficult to come up with a content. I was always confused on what to blog about. Atimes it takes me two weeks , one week, five days before I can think of something to write. The struggle was so much that I nearly quit! In my words, I cannot come and kill myself biko😄. Yeah,it wasn't fun though I haven't gotten to that level of blogging at ease but the different is clear. It keep getting better everyday, I keep learning especially with @Hivelearners engagement, it has so much helped me in developing the little writing skills I have now.
The training I get here from newbie initiative program has been helping me a lot. I visit other communities and engage in other people's post as advised and it's been working like magic. Atimes I get inspiration on what to write while reading from others but most times, it comes naturally too from my daily activities. I think we consume content daily, it's just for us to be creative about it. Sometimes I experience writer's block and I take a rest, sleep , calm my brain and feel so much refreshed to think and write again.
DO YOU BLOG WITH YOUR PHONE OR PC?
I blog with my phone even though I have PC. My phone is so handy, I can easily reply to comments even while on transit or create a post while away from my home. It's more comfortable and easy for me rather than pc.
DO YOU WRITE YOUR WORDS DOWN FIRST OR TYPE THEM DIRECTLY?
Initially when I started blogging,I do write my words down on a paper, cross check, cancel, re-write and the rest but currently I write them directly , save them on drafts, source my images, proofread and make necessary adjustments before publishing.
Kindly find the question here officially from @Hivelearners community:
We all are bloggers, we do it regularly enough for us to bear the title. So tell us how the experience is for you so far. Do you blog with your phone, or a PC? Do you write your words down first or you type them directly? And how have you found blogging to be so far? Please tell us, we might learn from you.
So far so good, I have been enjoying blogging with so much training and the support I get from you all, it keeps me going and motivated. I crave to be a good blogger in no distance time so I am taking this my learning period so serious.
Thanks so much for reading.
Much appreciated 👍
