The advancement in technology has in so many ways improved our living. A lot of things are now done so fast and with ease; courtesy of technology. The household devices on the other hand has really made life more easier for me as a mother while managing my home, isn't that amazing ? The cars, the aircrafts, the computers, generators , etc. the list is almost endless.

However, I will discuss on my favourite technological advancement as instructed by @hivelearners community as seen below:

The Smart phone and the Internet are my favourite technological advancement. The benefits of phone and the internet can never be over emphasized. The emergence of covid-19 on the other hand remains an eye opener to many including me on lots opportunities online and I am glad that a good number of people has embraced this opportunity .

I still remember the old long means of communication before the invention of mobiles phones. It could reach days before our letters are being sent to their various destinations but nowadays , we can communicate so easily to our loved ones and our business partners at the comfort of our home . We could even do a video call and see someone outside the country and the feeling has been great. I remember staying 3years in Lagos State Nigeria without a visit to see my mom, all thanks to phone and the internet which made our frequent communications and video call so easily .

Since the pandemic many people now work remotely at the comfort of their home without facing lots of traffic stress and still receive same salary , great right? This was made possible with the help of internet . There are now online jobs here are there which one can take without leaving the house. Online business is all over the internet, one can comfortably shop or sell so many things through phone and the internet .

_{Last year, I remember selling two plots of Land online as a realtor. I didn't know these buyers from anywhere but the internet brought our paths together.}

The list of the benefits are plenty, however, it still have it's negative effect. Many people has lost their money in their Bank account due to yahoo boys who misuse the internet and hack people's account. Lots of crimes are going on too through the internet but I want to humbly implore everyone to make good use of this amazing technology rather than misusing it to the detriment of our fellow human being.
