Discovering Hive is like finding a hidden treasure for me. I think I can't express myself enough about how grateful I am to know hive because its goodness to me so far can never be overemphasized. I cannot express my gratitude enough to my onboarder. My life has been touched positively in different dimensions, and if my onboarder didn't keep this great opportunity a secret to me, then it's my duty to spread the goodness of Hive to the world.

I feel that there are many people out there who do not know that this opportunity exists. A platform that rewards genuine effort, time, and originality, especially with people who are patient enough and are determined to succeed. When I joined the blockchain almost two years ago, my early days in hive weren't great. I was frustrated by lots of factors, ranging from a lack of reward nor a single soul to read from me, seeing the blockchain like a strange land, just being confused on how things work here, etc. All these made me nurse the idea of quitting, but then I chose to give it more push, and I became so determined and deliberate, especially after hearing the testimony of how some old hivers started on a rough note and later found their strong feet here. My onboarder really did a great follow-up, and I am ready to do the same for those I onboard here. Today, it has been a steady growth for me, which I am grateful for.
Onboarding new users

They say "experience is the best teacher". I have stayed a bit long here, almost two years and through my experience, I try to be sincere to those I onboard. I go through a thorough orientation with them prior to registration. As much as I want them to benefit like me, I wouldn't fail to let them understand that hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme. You must work in order to earn. I usually use a farmer planting a seed as an illustration for the new users I bring in here. You must be ready to plant a seed, nurture it, water the plant, remove weeds, and exercise patience for it to germinate before you start harvesting. This has been my policy. And I don't fail to stress the need for them to remain original to avoid breaking hive rules. Overall, I remain truthful to them, using myself as an example. So far, I have onboarded 8 people; only 3 are active now and are doing well. Last week, I created an account for a new user through the Neoxian City front end. This cost me 1,500 Neoxag. It's a way to assist others.
Through my hive earnings, I have helped many people in and outside the chain. My family has been the number one beneficiary of my earnings offline. Sometimes last year, some of my friends and I in the Neoxiancity Discord server contributed some liquid Hive, which we used to buy food and toiletries to visit the orphanage home. I was the representative, as you can see in the picture below š.

Aside from extending a helping hand off-chain through my hive earnings, I have given out some HBDs, liquid hives, RC, and HP to those in need here on the blockchain. I have done giveaways too, giving out liquid hive to others in discord and sometimes boosting other people's posts using ecency points.
Hive have blessed me beyond measure, and I feel at home here. Connecting with people across the globe, building healthy relationships, and always learning new things. The best I can do is not keep calm about this hidden treasure I found but keep spreading the goodness of the blockchain in our world today to the benefit of others.
Long live the hive!
