We are just two weeks away from the end of this year, and I believe that there are things we can't escape doing until the last day of the year. However, there are still other things we believe that we are done with for the year that we wouldn't be doing anymore unless the situation presented itself and we couldn't avoid it. I read a post from one of the HL members, and she said she wouldn't be visiting the market anymore, and I was like, wow, this can only be possible for a single lady living alone because I, with my large family, might visit the market up to 10 more times before 2024, hahaha. Everyone has their own life evaluation, analyzing what to do again and what not to do until next year, depending on our life calendars.
One of the things I won't be doing until next year again is my musical instrument rehearsals.

For some people who read my blog sometime in October, you will remember that I gave an update on my interest in learning the piano. This decision was conceived a long time ago prior to my getting married, and so I closed the chapter until recently, when I enrolled in a musical group around me with the motive of learning the keyboard. I may not have been singing in the hive open mic on this blockchain for some reasons, but I am a great lover of music. My interest in music pushed me to start learning the keyboard. I want to reach that stage where I can be playing and singing along. So far, the rehearsals have been on weekends, and I have been consistently attending while the instructor kept doing his best to impact the knowledge in my life. However, it was announced last week during our rehearsals that there won't be another session of learning until next year, on January 28, 2024.
Some of my friends advised that I buy my personal keyboard for faster learning; however, I haven't been able to buy one, so obviously, I wouldn't be laying my hands again on the keyboard until next year.
One other sensitive thing I don't plan to do again this year is attend church service late. It wasn't until my husband changed our usual 10 a.m. church service to 6:30 a.m. We usually have two services on Sundays, and because I have my kids to prepare, I choose the 10 a.m. service for everyone at home. This is to allow me some time to prepare the kids and me before 10 a.m., but since we started attending the 6:30 a.m. service, we have been attending church late. I have tried my best, but it seems not to be working out. Getting the kids to wake up that early hasn't been easy, so we are returning to our usual 10 a.m. service until next year. Hopefully, the issue of going late will be a thing of the past, and I plan to continue with the 10 a.m. service going forward after evaluating the whole stress of waking the kids by 5 a.m., when they should get enough sleep. Sometimes, I wonder where we are running to...
...This is why evaluation is vital after doing a particular activity over and over again!
