Hello everyone, how are you? This time the theme is very interesting, financial management during a celebration. I want to tell you that Christmas and New Year are not special celebrations for Muslims. Large expenditures are made during Eid al-Fitr. There are several special items and foods that need to be there. In fact, the tradition of cleaning the house needs to be done during Eid al-Fitr. Everything feels new at home.
During the Eid al-Fitr celebration, it also feels like buying new clothes is also done. So, there are a lot of expenses. This also disrupts financial stability. If not regulated, this will have an impact on the following month. What about 2024 towards 2025? Are there any large expenses?
At the beginning of this year, I intended to return to Bandung. because I have a little tradition, where I need to gather with my family on New Year's Eve. The plan is, I will enjoy a barbecue or suki like the years before my mother died. A little sad, this is the second time I have enjoyed New Year without my mother.
Every year there is great hope. To be a better year in everything. This is a tradition that cannot be avoided for me. So, I have to manage my finances well in advance. There is one thing that is difficult to manage, the price of return tickets to Bandung which suddenly increases. That is bound to happen. either train or travel. A 30 percent increase from the original price. It is quite draining my finances. How do I manage it?
I already have an alternative trip. Using the cheapest economy class train. Hahah, I did this two or three years ago. The total price of the trip only reaches IDR 18,000 one way. Quite cheap. For the trip back to Jakarta, I always wait for the normal price. Because the place where I work, enters the second week after the new year. This year I will do the same.
Another alternative is to go to an entertainment venue. Waterboom will be a family favorite. The entrance ticket price will be expensive. So, I plan to choose to visit the museum and also eat at several restaurants with my younger sister. Maybe that is the plan I will do.
Are there any other expenses? Yes, another big expense is education. Incidentally I am financing my younger sister's studies. I have to pay for college. This money is often beyond prediction and drains my savings. So, other expenses that are considered unnecessary must be removed.
Maybe I should reduce visiting coffee shops. That's all I can tell you about my financial management at the beginning of the year. See you in the next story. Greetings
