I believe we all at one point or the other might have heard the saying that "the fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom". To me, this is supposed to be a basic code guiding our everyday lives.

You all would agree with me that the rate of sinful acts have increased tremendously over the years. In the olden days, people were hiding to commit some kinds of crimes, but in these days, people do it openly.
I began to wonder, how we left the right path and became comfortable with this awful living. It is obvious that we have departed from something that used to make us better and unique.
We Need The Fear Of God Back |

If you read the bible in the book of Proverbs 9 from verse 10-12, you would find out that after the bible recommended that the fear of God would bring wisdom, it went further to tell us about the potential impact of this wisdom to our lives.
Wisdom in it's basics refers to the ability to get knowledge and understanding concerning any matter. The problem with our generation is that we do not seek wisdom again, we only seek money and fame.
On this article, I would be talking more on the potential impacts of wisdom to our daily lives, because we have gone astray for too long.

Understanding and knowledge is no longer a topic of discussion in the eyes of the average youth of my nation. The entire nation is feeling the effect of this foolishness, yet no help is near.
In our world today, a young boy of 16 -17 years of age would be willing to kill others through rituals because they believe that is the best and fastest way to wealth. Same with a girl child, she no longer thinks about how to become a good wife in the nearest future.
We have lost the path already, and if we do not make amends now, it would affect the next generation of youths, as they would become even more worse and violent than the current generation.
We see young boys and girls dieing everyday. Some died as a result of cultism, abortions, or curses, and it only gets worse by the day. But most people have not yet realized that it's because of lack of knowledge that there's so much going wrong in our world today.
Nobody works with a spirit and fails, and that is why any human that thinks he is strong in his own strength is deceiving his or herself. God is the creator of the universe, and hence He is the only spirit that deserves all worship and fear.
If only we could trace back to the old path where the fear of God was the ultimate, we could get help from the supernatural realm. Wisdom is assured if we fear and come to God earnestly and our lives would improve significantly.
Our nation needs to know that true success and freedom can only exist when men and women begins to gain knowledge and understanding to navigate and rule the nation.

My article in conclusion, is aim at informing us that all the things going wrong in the nation is as a result of poor understanding and no wisdom amongst the people of this generation.
Life would have been more peaceful and comfortable if everyone had up to a certain level of wisdom and understanding. We need to go back and find that knowledge, it can only be found in God.
