Another week to interact with great minds in the Hive learner's community. Kudos to the organizers of this contest, I appreciate your efforts to see a prosperous community.
Happiness is a feeling that comes from within, and it's usually associated with the word "true" because it can't really be faked. Although some people try to fake happiness, but of a truth, happiness remains genuine.
My View Of True Happiness |
---|
We all strive to be happy, but what does true happiness mean? Is it having a lot of money, owning a beautiful home, or having perfect relationships?
While these things can bring us joy, true happiness comes from within as I earlier stated. From my experience, I have found that true happiness is the result of understanding our core values and living with intention, purpose, and balance.

Happiness is a concept that is often discussed but rarely understood. It is not simply a fleeting feeling of pleasure or contentment, but rather a state of being.
Defining happiness means recognizing that it is a deep sense of fulfillment and well-being that comes from aligning our actions and values with our true selves.
It is about finding meaning and purpose in our lives, and experiencing a sense of peace and harmony within ourselves and with the world around us.
Like I said earlier, happiness can't be normally faked because it's a feeling that comes from within and shines bright on the outside for everyone to see as evidence. Although society have changed the way people should see happiness but I think true happiness is different from what most people today have assumed it to be.
Society's Definition Of Happiness |
---|
In society, happiness is often equated with external factors such as wealth, success, and material possessions. We are bombarded with messages telling us that if we have these things, we will be happy.
However, this definition of happiness is flawed, because true happiness cannot be measured by the size of our bank account or the number of possessions we own. It is about finding fulfillment from within and aligning our actions with our values.
In my personal journey towards discovering true happiness, I have learned that it is not a destination, but rather a lifelong pursuit.
It involves self-reflection, growth, and understanding what truly brings me joy and fulfillment. This journey has allowed me to let go of societal expectations and focus on my own values and passions.
In our pursuit of true happiness, it is crucial to let go of the need for external validation and material possessions. These external factors may provide temporary satisfaction, but they do not contribute to our long-term well-being.

By focusing on our internal values and personal growth, we can free ourselves from the constant need for validation and find true happiness in the simplicity of life.
Taking care of ourselves and loving ourselves are essential components of achieving true happiness. Self-love allows us to accept and appreciate who we are, flaws and all.
It enables us to prioritize our own well-being and make choices that align with our values. Through self-care practices, we nourish our minds, bodies, and souls, ensuring that we are in a positive state to experience happiness and spread joy to others.
Our relationships and connections with others is another important factor to consider when talking about true friendship.
The bonds we form with loved ones, friends, and even our communities provide us with a sense of belonging, support, and fulfillment.
By fostering meaningful connections and investing in my relationships, I have created a network of support and love that has enriched my live and contributed to my overall happiness and well-being.
In our hectic lives, it's easy to get caught up in the past or worry about the future. But true happiness lies in the power of mindfulness and living in the present moment.
When we fully immerse ourselves in the here and now, we can appreciate the beauty around us, connect with our inner selves, and find peace and contentment. By practicing mindfulness, we can tap into a limitless source of joy and live our lives to the fullest.
