There are many lucrative skill out there that can not only fetch a lot of money, but add good impact in terms of value and worth to the person that learnt the skill and those around them.
Over the years, I have gained a few skills, including shoe making, flyer designing, and many more, however, one thing I know for sure is that I did not learn any of these skills in a month. Though a fast learner, I was not able to properly master any of these skills within a month. It took time. The shortest time I spent learning a skill is about a month few weeks. I can't actually recall the exact duration though.
When it comes to choosing a skill, everyone knows what they want. Some want to be hair stylist, some like to be mechanics, photographers, the list goes on and on, however, when the question is: What skills can someone learn in a short space of 1 month, finding an answer can be really tough.
Nonetheless, this post is my entry for hive learners community prompt edition 2, Within A Month. Here, we are asked to say what skills we can learn and become professional in, within a month. In this post, I will write about a skill I think I can master within a month. Also, I will write about what makes me think I can master it within that short period. Here goes...
Many people call me a fast learner because I can grasp the physiology of something within a few minutes or maybe an hour. I don't really need much explanations on how something work. An introduction will do. After that, I begin to visualize things in my head.i start doing a trial and error in my head without even being physically present.
You remember when Dr Strange told Iron Man the result of their battle with Thanos in Infinity war without actually fighting the war yet? Welp, that is exactly how my brain works when it comes to learning a new skill. The most crazy thing is that all these things will happen in less than a day. Within this time frame, I will understand everything about the skill and go to the next step of practicing it (which works flawlessly most times), then, mastering it.
When learning a new skill, I give my entire life to that skill. In the sense that, I keep every other thing just to learn that skill. I replace my surrounding objects with things that relates to that skill so that I can fully focus on learning that skill.
I learnt many skills like this. Though it comes with a cost, serious headache. I was once diagnosed of psychological stress. Lol. But that's not stopping me though.
As of the moment, I don't really know much about photography. I love photography a lot. Mostly, plant and nature photography.
I have not tried learning this skill before, but, standing from a far distance, the skill looks simple to learn. I think I can learn it within a month. However, it is one thing to learn a skill within a month, but it is another to to gain experience and master it within that same month. Gaining mastery involves being experienced.
The fact that I learnt photography within a month does not mean that I am as experienced as someone that has learnt photography and has been practicing for 2 or 3 years. Its one thing to learn how to learn how to type with a keyboard, but it's another thing to master how to type with a keyboard. A master can do it without even looking and they will be very fast and efficient as well.
I can learn photography in a month, but I can not get the many experience required to master photography within a month even though I'm provided with all the resources I need.
Thank you for reading.
