Hello, everyone.

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. Money is powerful, no doubt, and if one is not careful enough, money takes full control over them, causing them to change in both how they behave, talk, and treat people. Some become proud and boastful and see the poor as nothing compared to them, but in some cases, some have the money and still want to mingle with the poor.
Some people flaunt their wealth, and you can tell from afar how wealthy they are. Some talk and boast about it, while others don't even want to be noticed. But the truth is, you cannot hide wealth, so eventually people get to know they are wealthy. Here I will share with you how I got to know a friend who was wealthy but tried to keep it a secret. Discovering this actually had an effect on our friendship, and I think that's why he tried to keep it a secret.
Stephen was a mechanical engineering student while I was a bioresource engineering student, but we met at our 100 level while running around for clearance. We exchanged contacts and kept in touch to know how far we had all gone with clearance, checking up on each other, and before you knew it, we became very close friends. He visits my room in the hostel very often, and all you will see him do is watch tutorial videos online. He said he was trying to learn forex trading, and we all laughed at the matter and let him focus.
He urged me to be a part of it, but I opted out as I did not really believe in Cryptocurrency and what it had to offer back then. He continued to carry out research and watch tutorial videos on YouTube, visiting many brokers pages. We kept telling him to stop wasting data and instead turn his hotspot on for us so we can make better use of his data since he's looking for a way to waste it. Little did we know he was learning and slowly building his account, and slowly attaining financial stability.
Me and some other friends were busy investing money in Ponzi schemes š¤¦, collecting chicken change, and in some cases the platform shuts down without paying us a penny Forex trading was helping Stephen attain financial stability. We were busy thinking we were at the same level, but little did we know Stephen had grown his account to over $5,000. The day he showed us his account,I felt likecrying. That was in 200 level first semester. Distance started coming in between us; he hardly visits like he does, but we were still very cool and relate so well but his financial status won't let us relate like we used to.
In my 200-level second semester, I got the shock of a lifetime when Stephen posted about his newly acquired car. This is when I realized he was way out of our league though he tried to still relate but he got some new friends that only finds pleasure in mocking others, this made me start to distance myself whenever he was hanging around then.
Now I am begging him to carry me along because I have finally embraced the Crypto world with everything in me. Though I got in late, I believe there's still more to achieve even though he doesn't act like he wants to carry me along, because he's making it look like I am pestering him now but you have to in order to get what you want.
