Hello, everyone.
Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. As we all know, different strokes suit different folks, and we all have different things we do that help us stay active at night.
We also have different reasons why we stay awake at night; some are for work, some because of chores, and some because of studies.
Staying awake at night because of studies is now normal for me. I always have assignments on engineering drawing and other courses. To achieve this goal before the deadline, you must deprive yourself of some sleep because you have little time during the day and therefore need the nights.
We had to devise means to help us stay awake at night, or we wouldn't be able to meet up. In subsequent paragraphs, I will be sharing some of the things that help us stay awake.
After having a really stressful day, one finds it very difficult to stay up at night because the body needs rest and nature cannot be cheated by man's power. This is why we had to look for ways to help us stay active. The things I do include:
Nescafe: Nescafe is known to contain a high amount of caffeine. My body system reacts to this, and it helps me stay awake all night. Once I take this, it's an all-nighter for me; I won't feel sleepy one bit, but the following day I will suffer from headaches.
Music: This one is food for the soul; it helps you stay active, especially with those danceable songs, not the slow ones that sound like lullabies. Once I put my headphones on, I won't even know it's already midnight.
Snacks: We call this one "snacks for the road." Staying awake at night can get lonely sometimes, but with your mouth moving, you won't even feel the loneliness. This snack helps keep both your hands and your mouth busy, and there's no way you can feel sleepy when these two parts of the body are kept busy.
Your Dedication: It takes a lot of dedication to something before one can agree to sacrifice his or her sleep to stay awake at night. It is not an easy task, but your dedication will serve as fuel for your desire to achieve that particular reason you are awake.
In a nutshell, if you are not determined to achieve a certain goal, then you cannot sacrifice your resting periods for it. Let your determination fuel your desire to achieve your goals.
