Good day, my Hive people. Let's delve into today's topic, "Science has gone too far.".
We all live in a world that's rapidly evolving day by day, all thanks to science and technology. I would first talk about gender transition and genetic engineering. It's so sad that they accept all this in our society. For instance, we have some people who undergo surgery for fake boobs and fake asses. Also, maybe someone had an accident and his or her face was burned in the accident, or someone is a victim of an acid burn.
Because of science and technology, a person can do surgery for it by putting another body on their body. Even though I must say face surgery is so common nowadays because people want to have a smooth or fine face, they undergo surgery for it all because of the advancement of science. However, I will say all this is acceptable because we don't expect those who are victims of acid or someone who had their face burned all because of accidents to carry their face like that without doing anything to it. But what I know that's not acceptable and still disgusts me is gender transition. It's very common for some people to do despicable things; a typical example is Bobrisky.
Till now, I still hate him for what he did to himself. Bobrisky is a guy who went to transform himself into a lady; science has gone too far by making this a reality. Even people will say they love to behave like dogs, and the next thing they know, they will undergo surgery to become dogs. I must say that the advancement of science has caused a lot of problems and confusion.
Before science and technology came into existence we all had what we called Chrome to do whatever research we wanted to do though Chrome never gave us straightforward answers we still managed it, but ever since science and technology came into existence they provided what we call Artificial intelligence(AI) and this AI is the easiest way people are using for quick answers and for better understanding, the advancement of science is way too much for us to explain it.
You know there were a lot of problems that lasted for centuries that weren't resolved all because there's no solution for them, but since science and technology came into existence, things have changed. I can't say it's a bad or good way, but I will say it has caused so much confusion for people. We receive less attention compared to other areas of science.
Research on the human brain.
The human brain is more complex, and to me, there are still things to uncover or much we don't understand about it or how mental illness develops.
Treatment.
Some mental health conditions still lack effective treatment, and we have some treatments that don't work for everyone. All this is what science needs, and they should do more research to develop better therapies.
Also, we have some causes surrounding mental health that can prevent individuals from seeking help. All these are where we needed science the most.
