Honestly there a lot of time in my life that I felt Helpless, I felt like there's nowhere to go, no direction, or what to do or just who to talk to or who to just lean on, or even when those people are there I just felt helpless.
I am very sure we must have been in that position before.
The Day i lost both my phone and Wallet.
This Happened around December 17th 2021, it was during festive season. During that time a lot of people were trying to travel to their various Hometown and villages, the price of things are cost, I think the transportation costs was doubled.
My Company (Nomba Agent Company: Formerly kudi Agent) gave me a task to give the high-performing Agent, some gifts and rewards.
I was Send to UKUM local Government in Benue state, there am to give 5 Agents, some bags of rice and groundnut oil, with clothes and cap, Haven contacted each and every one of them and gotten their addresses, i embarked upon the journey. We moved at around 12:pm in the Afternoon.
As usual the road was bad and there was a lot of checkpoints on the road, so this was a long-distance journey but I didn't get bored or tired because I'm used to that kind of Journeys, normally I travel a lot of time and most of the journey are always far.
When I reach my final destination, I left the car but I forgot my wallet and the bag containing my phones in the Car.
My phone was plugged to a powerbank and placed in my Leather Hand Bag, although this was a very surprising thing that have never happened to me before but this time around, it just happened and I forgot both my phone and my wallet inside the car probably because I was rushing to carry the loads out to the car boots which With the help of the driver, We carried the loads and arranged them to one part of the walkway, After that, i payed the driver my Fees and the car Left.
It was When I wanted to call the Agent i am to give gifts that l i remembered i didn't carry my phone and wallet.
I was so desperate and helpless. I asked everyone around that place about the Car. But that didn't help.
I was so frustrated that day.
I stayed there for more than 2 hours hoping the car will come around but it didn't. I lost all hope already, there was no money to lodge an Hotel, or money to buy food,
Not even phone to call the people i wanted to gift present.
Luckily for me, i saw one of the Pos agent that is using My company's Device. He carried me to their motor Park.
We were Able to get there, we saw the driver. He said one of the passengers Gave him my belongings, i was super Happy.
I can't forget that experience, i don't think I can ever forget my phone or wallet again, am always super careful, so as to avoid issues.
