Education can be defined as the discipline that is concerned with methods of teaching and learning in schools or school-like environments, as opposed to various nonformal.
School and Education have really not change much technologically if you ask me.
I believe nothing much has changed in our Educational system. But there have been significant improvement in technology used in fostering Education, for example we now have Distant learning, which is based on Schooling on a long distance basis, usually using instructional materials and lectures usually done online.
Also when it comes to technological advancements preschools and primary schools now focuses on using TV and Video-graphic Material for teaching the students.

The Internet has really been a safe Haven for everyone due to the fast and quick access to data and information.
This makes the students more creative and innovative, research and assignment are easily search out.
Nowadays students use the internet too for all their homework.
I remember during my University days, I was able to do all my assignment through the use of Google, it was just a very easier and faster route to getting all the necessary information needed, my project too would have been delayed if not because of the use of internet that have really helped me.
What can be changed in Our Educational system, since Technology is Rapidly Advancing?

- Teacher Salary should be Increased Massively
I am from Nigeria and I will like like to look into the grassroots level of problem facing our Educational system, first off, the Teachers are very Underpaid, I mean very ridiculously underpaid.
The minimum Wage which was just recently implemented by the federal Government is #70,000 (seventy thousand Naira) which is just about $43.20. This recently happened when the price of Things Skyrocketed to triple the Amount it has been before. The various State Government are yet to implement that and most of the Teachers receive less that #40,000 (forty thousand Naira) salary which is very small.
I remembered when I was still working as a classroom Teacher in Lagos some years ago, I was being paid the sum of #20,000 (twenty thousand Naira only) it's so crazy as that. In compare to other Works and Occupation, teaching is very Underpaid and this wouldn't bring teacher to seek for Making time to apply for Higher certifications, they won't be motivated to Foster creativity in the life of the students, they won't go the extra mile to ensure creativity and also develop their problem solving skills rather than Cramming, and other form of Learning.
- Examination should be More flexible and Creative
Instead of the Traditional way of writing on the paper, other creative and realistic methods like Full fledged practicals, group practices and Collaborative Exams within teams, exams and text can be done online through the Use of Computers,
We now have the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (J.A.M.B) now runs Computer Based exams, which has been so far very effective and Fast.
- The school and Various Institutions should Improve the Learning Environment
Most of the Schools have a very poor learning environment,the classes are usually crowded and very poorly conditioned room.
The Classroom are usually not conducive environment for Learning.
- The Curriculum and Lesson models needs to change too
Here in Nigeria ( I have been using Nigeria as an example because I haven't been to another country to check their state of education)
The Curriculum used some time are very Old, new model should be developed to foster smart Learning, kid can simply be taught how to use internet under a very strict and censored Standard for their research and class works. The world is rapidly advancing in Technology even Academically too.
In Conclusion:
I strongly believe in Smart Learning, student can use the internet as their advantage, as far as it is censored and controlled for their Academic Experience, Tablet, pads and other gadgets should also be used.
