Merry Christmas to everyone in the #Hivelearners community.
It's been days now, I have not been able to put up the featured contest due to my tide schedule and other engagements and, my low battery, and the lack of NEPA supply in my village. I hope I will be able to publish my post this Christmas day about the contest.
Talking about finance, this is the greatest weak point in my life: how to manage finance generally, not only this Christmas. Though before this day, I had already spent a lot on my native outfit against the festive season, upon all these, I still have enough clothes and other things to buy in preparation for my NYSC program next year, I have saved money and I need to save the more for feeding and the rest of the things. This money was saved by someone not in my virtual bank or one of the central banks; it was out of visual sight; if not, I would have squandered the whole money and gone bankrupt. In this life have someone very close to you as a mentor or whatever you may have called who can be of help to you in every area of your life, whether the person has money or not.
Managing money is very good; it can salvage any situation that needs financial support, and it is bad when you don't save but squander; it can ruin your destiny, and you go helpless.
In this season like, a lot of people will spend a lot in terms of food items and outfits for themselves, friends, family members, clubs, or organizations, and after all the spending, some will have leftover money in cash or the bank. Some would spend and go empty-handed and probably start next year with nothing.
Finance requires strategic individuals to be able to handle it successfully. Life comes in stages; the same thing applies to other aspects, so if you don't know how to plan strategically and stable financially, you can become a poor man within 24 hours.

For food items for this Christmas, I have not spent money on them because mummy has been the one buying foodstuff at the market. But she has spent a lot today. I was the one preparing the Christmas meal, so she bought the necessary things at the market but left out a few things that would have spiced up the meal, so I told her this is what I wanted for the meal, and she went and bought. When I told her the remaining things to buy, she stood before and calculated the money in her bank and the one she would spend. She is very calculative and supportive.
However, financial management is very pivotal for sustaining lives and making easier for a smooth start. I believe next year will be better and more organized in the aspect of finance.
By next year I'm praying that God should give me the grace to be in the category of financial management.
Thank you for reading through.
