Welcome to my blog. Hey I have actually missed a lot of contests post due to my battery incapability and low voltage regulator in my area. 5 days away from hive is painful and discouraging but I refused to be discouraged, I move forward with the little chance I have. Welcome back to hivelearners initiative week. It really good to participate on this very topic of this week.

We all have our hometown, where we live from our birth or away from hometown, once in a while a visit there.
Hometown is a place where we have grown from childhood to an old age, unique dialects and languages spoken by the regional person, a place of unique culture, a place of unique attire worn by the people, a place of varieties.

Before I continue, nobody's hometown is superior than the other. All are unique in nature and other aspects. God is the almighty, he knows better than us.

I'm a typical Akwaibomite:

I'm a proud Akwaibomite I'm Nigeria. I do not know about your hometown. Why I'm I saying, so many people or Akwaibomites feel ashamed of where they are from, maybe the dialect aspect or otherwise reasons base known to them. My hometown is my identity anywhere I go.

Akwa Ibom State, is a peaceful region. Our recent slogan is Akwa Abasi Ibom State. Meaning, God's State. A place of enjoyment, a place of all kinds of delicious delicacies are made. Like in the Ethiopian country, spoonful food is available, there is no swallow and fresh veggies, like in Akwa Ibom State. Anyway, that's their uniqueness. They are probably proud of what they have.

God actually created us to be like him, things suddenly change. People began to speak in diverse language and tongues. Without the existence of human beings there would be no hometown. The earth would be void and voidless. The people of Akwa Ibom State, act, react, speaks like Akwa Ibom. Akwaibomites eats their local foods. The people are unique with different characteristics and behavior.

Language:

Language actually, speaks much about us and it volume. Our dialect reveals true Identity of akwaibomites. I Know, there are multi-lingualism in our midst. Speaking more than a language can give you grounds to explore, and at the same time exposes us to where we never dreamed of.

Delicacies:

In Akwa Ibom State, we have different delicacies. We have veggies of different types, okra, etidot, atama, Afang, utasi, white soup, rice of different types. I am proud of my hometown, because if I traveled out of my hometown, I don't think I would enjoy the kind of meals that I used to, in my hometown. At times I do wonder if other hometowns are like mine.

Education:

Today, our education standard has changed. We are now having medical doctors, engineers, professors, and other disciplines. Gone are the days, educated people from another States, coming to Akwa Ibom State, to be our governor. Today, we have trillion of graduate and more in Akwa Ibom State.
