My weekend vibes!
Today is the last Sunday in the month of August 2023. God has been faithful to every one of us. He never lied to us, no matter what.
So many things contributed to my weekend vibes, and this starts Thursday's to Sundays. I am a student in higher institution
There are some mid-days that I don't have lectures, I will stay back and be busy with house chores, or I would so my assignment and other petty things, or I would go to shop for groceries.
I will share with you what I did in my weekend days that brings vibes.

On Friday, I went for jogging with my church members. It was a nice experience I had so far. Running, skipping, jogging, and many others. It was a fun-filled day for and others.
Returning from the morning exercise, I rested, took my bath, took my breakfast and then move to the market to get some food stuffs for the family. I enjoyed cooking, so I did the cooking and the food was ready. It was so delicious to the point my dad said, “my girl, you are ready for marriage”. 'I gave a quick smile'. I said, “my husband will enjoy me ooo" and he responded, “yes oh”.
Throughout Friday, I was so excited, and I found myself doing what I liked doing.
Saturday, I do have lectures. After lectures, I had enough time to play with my colleagues, discussing how our last paper as final year students would like. We have paid money for our jackets. And other discourse was made concerning that day.
Yeah, Sunday. The D day.
From church program to church program. So hectic and fatigue.
I derive my weekend vibes from today being Sunday. Today after our church service we had an invitation of our beloved resident pastor of our denomination. The church he stayed for 9 months before he was transferred to our church called him for an appreciation service. He informed us about it and we as a church get prepared and boarded a bus to take us there for his appreciation service.
While on the bus heading to Ekopedi church, we gist and our big women on the bus gives us vibes on how the village used to be. Some of our big women who were on the bus knew the village, some are from the village, some in-laws and other relatives are there.

While on our way, I saw a big stream, with people inside the canoe driving. It was one hour thirty minutes journey. I saw many untarred roads, that helps is to exercise our body. It was funny.

I thank God the appreciation service was successful. The people in Ekopedi Church did so well. Returning to Uyo, our journey that took us one hour became a 30 minute journey. We came back successfully and alive.
This was how my weekend went through.
Thank you for reading through my blog.
