As the year wraps up, everyone is buzzing with excitement. How's the weather on your end? We're dealing with some serious dust due to the Harmattan season. The streets are all lit up, and there's a festive vibe with bars and cars playing Christmas tunes. It's been a blessing to witness all this goodness this year. We've had quite a mix of experiences some we'll leave in the past, and others, well, we're looking forward to doing them all over again next year.
There are numerous activities that I am done for the remainder of this year and into the next. Firstly, I've graduated, which means no more physical classes, no lecturers, and no tedious, lengthy classes where resting one's head on the desk is prohibited. I can recall how often I was asked to stand or walk around the hall.
I had a conversation with a friend who recently returned from the NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) camp, and he teased me, saying I haven't experienced real freedom yet. He mentioned that when I go to camp next year, I'll encounter even longer classes, especially in SAED (Skill Acquisition Entrepreneur Development). I argued that it doesn't have to be boring, but he countered, revealing a humorous detail about his camp experience. He claimed to have a specific chair at the back where he rested his head and slept off, and if anyone attempted to adjust it for their comfort he didn't agree, because it was his "sleeping chair." If given the choice, I wouldn't willingly subject myself to lengthy classes and would straightforwardly decline.
Also, I recently made an important decision regarding my last data subscription, and I'm delighted that I won't need to repeat it until 2024. In the past, I used to subscribe at a lower price to obtain cheaper data, and I would end up subscribing more than six times a month. I'm grateful that I was introduced to a larger data plan. Instead of repeatedly spending small amounts that accumulate, I now prefer to borrow initially to subscribe to a plan that will last the entire month and pay back later. Yeah, my very last subscription this year.
My last cravings are satisfied. Since the beginning of this year, I've been craving a particular local dish – Starch and black soup. I satisfied my last craving by preparing it yesterday. However, I've decided not to make it again until next year. Despite having other options, I indulged in this dish from morning till night because it's one of my favorites. Surprisingly, I'm still enjoying it today, even though the soup tends to affect my digestion. This marks the last time I'll be cooking it this year, but I have doubts about it being my last time eating it. If I come across it while visiting, I won't hesitate to devour the dish.
Goodbye to period cramps for the year although next year isn't too far away, haha. I'm especially glad about it because it will spare me any disruptions during the Christmas celebrations – hurray! I tend to get moody easily during this time. Kudos to all moms, ladies, and men supporting their women through this phase.
Lastly, I came across a message in my class group chat stating that clearance is starting soon. However, I've decided to postpone it until next year because I won't be going to that school for the rest of this year. Last week I trekked through the corners of that school and the sun is somehow different from the one at home it's so hot. Additionally, clearance is a serious matter, and I need time to gather the required funds and documents before starting the process. So no more stepping into my university this year.
We go harder next year, thanks alot for visiting my blog
