I'm glad to be one of the selected persons participating in the newbies initiative task. All thanks to @starstrings01 and @newbies-hive for this wonderful opportunity and to @theycallmedan and @aliento for their support.
Setting out goals and working towards to achieve is one of the faster way to be successful and here, i will writing about my goals in the next three months and how i will be able to achieve them.
What are your Hive goals by the End of the Initiative (In 3 months) in terms of Hive Power, followers, comments & engagements and any other Hive related goals you have in mind?
HIVE POWER
I joined Hive last 2 months although when i started i didn't put much zeal,but with the help of few friends here who taught me my way around here,i was really encouraged i was determined to grow my Hive power.
I am currently on 50.073Hp and my goal in the next 3 month is to reach 200Hp.
FOLLOWERS
In hive, i noticed it is not really about the followers you got but about how you engage in people post(comment and upvote).
Sadly, i got only 25 followers,but my goal is have up to 50 followers.
Yes, that is really achievable, become i will be making more comment and engaging in people post daily.
Comments and engagement
I have made over 250 comments in the last 2 months and i can say in the 3 months i will have over 1000comments
HOW CAN I DO PLAN TO ACHIEVE
Goals can not be achieved if a person just make them and do not work towards them.
In terms of Hive power, i will have less withdrawal of Hive Dollar, convert them to Hive and power up to increase my Hive power.This will give me more resource credit to be able to post and engage in people post.
In terms of Followers, i will make sure i make at least one post everyday. Join different communities and write according to their rules. This will bring more people to be engaged in my post and if they like the post, they will love to follow me.
In terms of comments and engagements, i will make at least 10comments or more everyday depending on how far my resource credit can carry me.
What challenges do you think you may likely face trying to attain these goals?
Data subscription
This is one of the challenge i might have.The way network take their charges is alarming.
Lack of concentration
As a student, i have classes from morning 8am to 6pm, most times I don't have the chance to create a post, even in my free period when i try to create a post i feel I don't feel concentrate then I don't create a good post.
Since i joined, i make posts only weekend because that is the only time i get chance to post.i just started making posts everyday because of the Asuu strike which made us stay at home.
