Sunday is for roaming, resting, eating good drooling foods and enjoying with the family and loved ones.
In India, there are lots of spicy street food items to have and people enjoys and love to have these street food often.
Pav Bhaaji, vada Pav, Masala Pav and Misal pav are very popular foods.
One of the most popular street food is Masala Pav. Masala pav is a dish made with lots of butter toasted buns and a mixture or Masala of tomato and onions. The Buns are toasted in the generous amount of masala, garnished with coriander leaves and chopped onions.
In my todays blog I am sharing a recipe if Masala Pav.
At home we can prepare this with hygiene and it took 30 mins.
INGREDIENTS-
▪︎buns- depends on the family member I took 1 pckt
▪︎butter-½cup
▪︎onions-2 cup
▪︎tomatoes-2 cup
▪︎capsicum-½cup
▪︎garlic and ginger minced 1tbspn
▪︎cumin seeds-½tbspn
▪︎salt-according to taste
▪︎turmeric powder-½tbspn
▪︎red chili powder-½tspn
▪︎pav bhaji Masala-2 tbspn
▪︎coriander leaves-1 tbsspn
▪︎Lemon juice-1tbspn
METHOD-
1.heat a pan
2.add butter.
3.when butter is hot then add cumin seeds and let it crackle.
4.further add chopped onions.
5.saute it till golden brown.
6.then add ginger garlic paste.
7.saute it untill smells good.
8.add chopped tomatoes.
9.sprinkle salt and mix it.
10.then add chopped capsicum.
11.mix it properly till all the veggies are soft.
12.further add pav bhaaji Masala.
13.add coriander powder.
14.sprinkle some chat masala and lemon juice.
15.then pour little amount of water and cook till the masala is cooked and turns soft. A nice aroma will come from the masala.
16.slit the buns/pavs.
17.then move the masala aside on a pan.
18.spread little butter over the slit pav. Fry the pav till golden brown.
19.further spread the masala on the pav.
Top the bun with the prepared masala and sprinkle some onions and coriander leaves and serve Masala Pav immediately.
